So hopefully I will have pictures of the new faces in about a week and a half.

Found out something interesting about faces made from pictures. The coloring is totally custom. i had thought that they just used the standard abyss colors closest to the picture, but Shelley said they match to the picture exactly, even if the particular color is not normally available. So I changed the dollpipe data from TBA to custom for those fields. Then I will have to figure out for myself what the colors are and change them to "custom pink" or whatever for the stats.

The faces arrived in good condition, despite the best efforts of UPS to destroy them. Abyss needs to learn that when dealing with UPS you have to pack something so that it could survive a drop from a ten-story building. The standard practice of dropkicking a package from one end of the truck to the other is described in great detail on page 25 of the UPS Delivery Procedures Manual. Or the Destruction Procedures Manual, as it should be called.
Basically, the shipping method for faces by themselves is to make a hard styrofoam duplicate of a doll face plate and glue it to the bottom of a cardboard box. Then they attach the face to the styrofoam with velcro, exactly the way it attaches to the doll. There is no additional packing material, because they are very leery of having anything touch the face.
Apparently this works most of the time, though I got the impression that most of the successful deliveries were via transports other than UPS. Deborah said that customers had received faces with the box all bunged up, yet the face was still attached to the styrofoam.
I don't know if those who handled my shipment were even more violent than usual for UPS, but all three of my faces came loose from the styrofoam and were flopping loose in the box. On top of that, the styrofoam mount for the Kaori face came loose from the box. So the packages not only received enough hard jolts to separate the velcro binding, but hard enough to break the glue bond in one case.
No doubt the faces got banged up against the box a few hundred times during transport, and the Kaori was additionally banged by the free floating styrofoam. Other than having to clean them up because of the debris from the box, they appear to be intact, though all of the eyes were out of whack (the Marty Feldman look ) and had to be realligned. I had thought the Kaori had a blemish on her forehead, but that turned out to be glue from the failed mount. The other two mounts were still intact, so those faces couldn't reach the glue and wallow in it. I was able to pick off the glue and she is okay.
I understand the issue of not wanting anything touching the doll's face, but Abyss needs to improve the packing, at least when shipping UPS.
One thing I noticed was that only two of the velcro coins were used for attaching to the styrofoam. All of the others (the face has a total of 8 velcro coins) were just blank pads on the styrofoam.
My suggestion to Abyss would be: use more of the velcro coins, maybe all of them when shipping UPS. And maybe stronger glue to attach to the box.
Anyway, will try to have pictures later today. (Especially Kaori With Tits, as requested by Rainy. )

Maybe there's some bible thumpers in the UPS who figured out what was in that box and stomped on them to release the evil. They're probably sending hail and locusts your way now, after removing the sun, to further frustrate your photography

First, Sierra (the second forum face 12/Britney):

If you look close in the big image, you can see the freckles on her nose. I didn't actually ask for those, the girl in the picture had them and I didn't notice.
Next, Mireille (the 4th known face 1/Melissa):

Finally, Sydney (the first forum face 13/Kaori):

And for Rainy, Sydney tit shot 1 and tit shot 2. I think she looks great with tits.
