Discrete storage of your darling doll-the table idea
here is how you do it. buy 6 or 8 table clamps..any hardware store... put felt pads under it to prevent damage to table. Buy webbing, canvas etc and rope or bungy cords and an appropriate size of foam. Lay your doll under the table on her foam pad with webbing at across the width at neck/chest, at waist, at thighs or knees and at ankles. She will be effectively suspended under your table and held in place on her foam pad by the table clamps. Now, buy a table protection pad which serves to hide the edges of the clamps and a sufficiently long opaque table cloth to cover all. Works like a charm! Most people have space behind a sofa and against a wall for a 5' x 18" table. You can put lamps, books, and flowers on it and no one is the wiser of the delights hidden below. Now only if you don't let a dog into the apt to go sniffing around.
Realdolls are the 6 K + expensive happy few . I think this exclusive elegant lady's won't be stored in this way.
A kick under your ass is wat you get if you try Helen to let her do this .
No seriously, the doll is very prone to pressure damage.
A realdoll can best be stored on her neckbolt when she has to be hided. This is a proven way to store a realdoll.
To do this, yes you have to make a little storage room with a hook in the ceiling.
1) Best is hanging
Alternatives that are proven and give no pressure damage are:
1) Waterbed (Max P, Angel?!?)
2) Airbed (Inklings doll spend lotta time there, seems not to hurt her)
3) Store her on a thick foam mattress (first realdolls were stored in that way, this may cause pressure damage, especially if you don't turn her at least once a week!)
