Thanks Lone! Yeah, I was hoping I would get time to take pics for the photo contest 'cause I loved the "Wild Side" theme ... had everything planned out in my head but ... Oh well.

Howdy All!

Nina has had a few minor accidents during the last few photo shoots ... and one really nasty fall during the "Wild Side" shoot. While attempting to get Nina positioned and balanced on the cheetah, Nina, Lila and the cheetah had a tragic tumble that left Nina splayed out doing the splits. Well, sad to say, Nina suffered some injuries that needed immediate attention.

Note : Nina's minor injuries have been cumulative in nature, acquired over the past few months. Her last tumble off the cheetah resulted in more serious injuries than already existed and required an immediate trip to the doll hospital. These injuries did not happen all at once during the "Wild Side" photo shoot.

Supplies needed for repairs

Acetone
Isopropyl Alcohol
SilPoxy (or other preferred silicone adhesive)
Super glue
Toothpicks
Q-tips/cotton swabs
Popsicle stick (Tongue depressor/butter knife/spoon edge work fine as substitute)
Clean rags/towels
Disposable nitrile gloves
Cling wrap

Small puncture on the top of Nina's right foot.

Wipe area around puncture with tip of rag dipped in acetone. Gently clean out the puncture with cotton swab dipped in acetone. Let evaporate. Using tip of toothpick, grab a tiny dab of SilPoxy and carefully spread inside the puncture. Gently massage foot around the puncture to evenly spread out the adhesive. Wipe excess with tip of rag dipped in acetone. Leave foot undisturbed for a few hours before starting next repair ... let the adhesive have time set.

A trio of small punctures in the bottom of Nina's right foot.

I should mention ... Nina gets foot injuries quite easily. Her foot "bone" has a very sharp edge and corners along the front of the foot bone that slice through her foot under pressure. Her sister Lila does not have this same "flaw" ... her foot bones have no sharp edges at all. A very nice upgrade in design between 2014 and now. Anyway ...

Clean area around punctures with tip of rag dipped in acetone. Clean punctures thoroughly with cotton swab dipped in acetone. Work tip of cotton swab into large puncture and clean deep inside. Let fully evaporate. Dip toothpick into dab of SilPoxy, coating the tip of toothpick. Work tip of toothpick into small punctures, spreading adhesive inside. For the large multiple puncture hole, use toothpick and gently press/pack/force small dabs of adhesive into the puncture, filling it until excess adhesive squeezes out. Position foot in neutral position, allowing the holes to close naturally. Gently massage the foot around the punctures to evenly spread the adhesive. Wipe any excess with section of rag dipped in acetone.

Numerous punctures, rips and shredding in the bottom of Nina's left foot ... goes to the bone ... I can see it. Ouch!

Okay, we're gonna fix the big nasty wound first.

Clean area around punctures with tip of rag dipped in acetone. Clean punctures thoroughly with cotton swab dipped in acetone. Work cotton swab deep inside punctures and clean thoroughly. Let evaporate completely. Using a popsicle stick (or comparable substitute), gently press/pack/force small dabs of SilPoxy into puncture until filled and slightly oozing out under slight pressure. Carefully massage foot in order to spread SilPoxy around foot skeleton and thoroughly coat all internal surfaces of puncture with adhesive. Wipe excess adhesive with section of rag dipped in acetone. Position foot in neutral position allowing the holes/punctures to close naturally. Again, gently massage foot around punctures to evenly distribute adhesive and "burp" out any trapped air bubbles. Wipe all excess adhesive oozing out with clean section of rag dipped in acetone.

Okay, foot injuries have been taken care of ... get our patient comfortable and let her rest. While she is resting, we'll fix her loose fingernails.

Two loose fingernails

Thoroughly clean Nina's hands with isopropyl alcohol. Gently pull back/flip up loose nails and clean underside of nails with cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. Let evaporate. Reattach loose nails with a tiny dab/drop of super glue. Position and hold until glue sets.

Let repairs cure overnight.

Next day ... Nina's right foot post-op. She's building up quite a SilPoxy callous.

Fix remaining punctures with tip of toothpick dipped in SilPoxy. Insert into punctures, spread adhesive ... you know the drill by now.

We'll start with the rips/tears along the bottom edge of Nina's insert hole first.

Thoroughly clean area around insert hole with section of rag dipped in acetone. Using a cotton swab dipped in acetone, clean the inside edges of all the bottom (circled in red) rips. Let evaporate fully. Using the tip of a toothpick, carefully spread a very thin layer of SilPoxy on the exposed surfaces of the rips.

Position Nina's legs into standard "from the mold" position, closing the insert hole opening and pressing the rips together. Carefully and gently wipe excess SilPoxy using the tip of a clean rag dipped in acetone. Let set and cure overnight.

Note : Notice the diagonal rip (somewhat out of focus) in the upper right area of the insert tunnel ... it does not fully close on it's own. We'll cover the repair steps for closing this rip next.

Next day ... bottom injuries now cured and looking great. Now on to repairing the rips at the top of the insert tunnel.

Use same steps in cleaning area around rips/tears as in previous repair. Using tip of toothpick, carefully spread a thin layer of SilPoxy on surfaces of the rips/tears. Wipe any excess SilPoxy with section of rag dipped in acetone.

Adjust Nina's legs to "prone" position. Using a strip of cling wrap, gently pull the rips together and smooth out any excess SilPoxy squeezed out under the cling wrap.

Let repair cure overnight.

Next day ... VOILA! No more rips/tears in the insert tunnel opening. Now we move down south for anal repairs.

Elongated rip following the ass crack to the anus opening and small rip at top of anus opening.

Clean ass crack and anus opening well with rag dipped in acetone. Let evaporate fully. Using the tip of a toothpick, carefully spread a very thin film of SilPoxy into the ripped ass crack. Then spread a very thin film of SilPoxy on the surfaces of the upper anus rip. Close Nina's legs to "prone/neutral" position. Dip tip of clean rag in acetone and carefully/gently wipe excess SilPoxy from ass crack and anus. Do not disturb.

Tears in Nina's right armpit.

Clean ripped areas thoroughly with section of rag dipped in acetone. Let evaporate fully. Using tip of toothpick, carefully spread a thin layer of SilPoxy over ripped areas. Adjust arms towards body, slightly wiggling while pulling closed to evenly spread adhesive into all the grooves of the rip. After arms are positioned and rips/tears are melded together, carefully and gently wipe any excess SilPoxy from the armpit area.

Let all completed repairs cure overnight.

*FYI : The damages to the left of Nina's insert tunnel ... the damage that looks like small bits of silicone have been munched on ... well ... a damn cricket was munching on Nina for lunch! MY BAD!!!

*TIP : DO NOT EVER leave your doll unattended on the floor in a basement, no matter how "finished" the basement is. IF there ARE any crickets, they WILL find and munch on silicone. Crickets seem to have an insatiable appetite for silicone and will eat it until they die.
