I might as well join in the fun. I very much like many of the faces that have been submitted. I like what WM currently offers also. I don't see how I can go wrong by picking any of them.

I believe that works created by hand are considered creations regardless of who or what the creations resemble. Often, in art, the objective is to create something that resembles something else. I found an interesting, short article that does discuss one felonious crime called forgery. The statement that appears to sum things up is this:
...it is not illegal to sell reproductions of an artist’s work. It is only illegal to misrepresent them as by the hand of the artist.

On the other hand, if one person can claim that an artist's work resembles his or her face, then, I guess, the 98,327 others who have similar looking faces can make the same claim. It's a stretch to consider that such claims make an artist liable for anything. If there has ever been such a case, I'd like to see it. I spent some time using bing and google and failed to find one. Of course, if someone used a mold of someone's face, there might be another story.
