New squeezy videos

HI,
We just posted a couple videos on our site which show the softer version of our dolls. The tush is wonderfully soft now.
Without using gel implants or tpe materials, we now have a great soft feel over the whole doll.
Future collectors are in for a treat.

Would you say the softer blend is less prone to tearing?

Being a mechanic, harder has always meant stronger, but I think I'm looking at dolls wrong. Your soft silicone appears to have lots of flex that returns to shape. Softer and stretchier = less tearing.
I know the old Tin cure silicone was soft and dense, but it had tearing issues at it was weak in a molecular sense I guess.

Hi!
I always worried about really soft silicone having tear issues as well.
But, it was obvious even with our first casting that this was not the case. Quite the opposite, actually.
We immediately found that because of the skins ability to stretch further, it made her less prone to tearing.
We were happily surprised.

One of the problems inherent with the old tin silicone (we have always used Platinum cure with our dolls) was that it would degrade over time. This of course led to tears. Thankfully most doll makers are working with some type of platinum cure silicone now.
With a hard(er) doll one does not need to be as aware of possible denting or clothes that are too tight leaving marks.
But, it's not as much fun to play with.
That was one of the things we really wanted to get right…the soft tush. It is as soft as the boobs now…ahhhhhhh….

It does beg to be squeezed and will make play that much more enjoyable.

Did not mean to imply that PIB ever used Tin cure.

Other doll makers used Tin in the early days, but I cannot name names on your forum. No need to anyway. Just wanted to point out the problems w/ the soft Tin. I did not realize this was a age breakdown issue. Just thought it was the way Tin was.
