Doll Story - Paris Match

Post by fred01 »

French friends!

A French magazine widely distributed and well known in France, "Paris Match", published an article on Doll Story.
I agreed to testify on my passion for the dolls and those they represented to me.
It is written with great sensitivity article, the reporter was able to transcribe the review with great humility, without prejudice.

The issue was published this morning. :D

I'm really sorry but the item is not available in English :( .
My English is not good enough to translate it  .

My message was addressed to the few people on this forum speak French.

My sister Anya lives in France, and could translate it, but I'm not sure she would want all that work! I will email it to her just the same. She will appreciate the article I'm sure.

Hi fred,
that´s great. I´ll pick up a copy and will give it a try. My french is very rusty so please don´t expect me to do a translation, at least not too soon. Pretty busy at the office right now, 8O

Nice one Fred01 :). Looks like a nice article, a real shame it's not in English.

Hi,
Just clicked the link to Doll Story and read the article, It's one of the best ever seen.
Very informative and non-prejudice, the love doll is prescribed as a valued art object who reflects the demands of the time who much lone people search for an equivalent partner.
It also tells the successful story of a couple, searching for a new innovation on the French market and founding a new company who grows and expands with the upcoming years.
Will try to find the mag here in a store as this article comes in our 4woods/Doll Story collection :!:

Please be very careful when using Google Translate. It seems their translation is not always accurate, especially if it comes to subtle differences in how words are used in different languages. Based on reactions TDF Management received, it seems some of the wording used in this article, can easily lead to misunderstandings if computer translated.
