The Intimate Moments Between People and Their Sex Dolls

Post by Synobyte07 »

A recent article came out in November of 2014 that covered the subject of doll owners and what motivated them to turn to dolls for companionship. Everhard, Deerman and Nescio50 are mentioned in this story which I thought was great.

http://www.beautifuldecay.com/2014/11/1 ... ?view=true

I thought Angela and her doll Anna was refreshing to see. The one thing that you can never predict is who will own a love doll. To stereotype a "doll owner" would be ridiculous to even try.

Hopefully, this article has not been covered in another thread, I wasn't able to find any other info about this topic elsewhere.

These pictures by Benita are published at some more sites: http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=57436

Great pictures :D  but about the stories - well I have some second thoughts, to put it mildly, the context is missing.

Context? please explain Nescio50. :? what needs to be said, at least the the coverage put us in a decent light for a change, unlike other media coverage seemly made by a bunch of immature schoolboys to ridicule us! They, and society are hypocrites. I bet many of them use the internet for social interaction, as many of us do, instead of actual social interaction. Gaming communites are a good example, a giant role play arena really with a virtual variety to escape from our daily lives, just as 'unreal' or plastic as our dolls, but no less forfulling and comforting. The way society is going, with many of us preferring to use the internet to socialise out of convienence, and increased reliance on machines to work for us, I see dolls and robots as natural progression really, :)

It seems to me there was a lot of: Bill has this problem so he got a doll. Joe had that problem so he got a doll. How about: Mikes life is wonderful and he got a doll because he thought it was fun. And it is!

At least everyone looked nice and had nice home/ surroundings. Thank god that didn't find some Charles Manson type, w/a Nazi flag on his wall. Empty booze bottles strewn about and his doll tied up, gagged and blind folded!
Going downtown. Gonna see my gal. Gonna sing her a song. I'm gonna show her my ding dong! C&C

No, your a lovable little Charlie Manson I'm sure. And that Nazi flag is a war souvenir of grand dads.

They would love to interview me too. Raggedy clothed, unshaven, crooked tooth hick that I am!
Hey I'm just trying to save $ and get out of debt, not put the dentist's kids through Harvard.
And yeah, that Daisy Duke poster is out dated, but I still like her. :plaidskirt:

Let me tell you about my great grand father who fought on D-day on the beach of Normandy. Waves upon waves of the enemies descended on him. I like to think her fought valliantly. I would like to say he would rather pull out his luger and bite the bullet than be captured by the Yankees.

Prior to that he was a chef who baked many star of david cakes in a very large oven. His secret ingredient escapes me.

Oh and let me tell you of my gamgam, she was part of a hippy community led by some guy with a rotated cross on his forehead.

james1969: I think Nescio50 was trying to say that the article that I linked to has been edited down to a certain degree where we are not able to read the whole story. There must be a full version to this story that is more negative in nature and maybe more critical to these doll owners. I just took it at face value and found it interesting, nonetheless. Maybe someone can expand on the actual interpretation of the article. :?:

About 'context': there is not one context for all doll owners and it's impossible to present an individual context in a subscript of two lines.

First, imo this is one of the best publications of Benita's pictures! It's not just focusing on sex dolls, not just sensationalism.
About the text below the pictures Benita shot at my place, this is what I told Benita so it's true (on some other sites there are subscripts that are simply not true), but still to me it is used to present someone who bought dolls to fill a void. This is not true. Living on my own, I never felt lonely. I just like the beauty of my dolls and I do like the female presence they add to my home (adding something is not necessarily filling a void).

I don't think two doll owners are equal. But for a story, they always try to find something in common. In this article: "they have one very apparent thing in common: they each consciously turn to dolls as a means to alleviate their loneliness." Also, living with dolls is called a "controversial lifestyle". Okay, these dolls are controversial. But I myself never considered having dolls a lifestyle, merely a hobby.

My comments are no criticism towards Benita, not at all! I know she's true, she really respects all of us and she really tries to present dolls and their owners in a positive way.

It doesn't interest me what other thinks about me, I've enough money to support my own way of live.
There're people who accept it and other do hate it but in fact a lot of them are jealous or incompetent to stand on their own feet and to master their own situation so doll owners are genius people who suits a lifestyle who's worth to be discusses in media. In my next life I buy dolls and I go for lawyer, a perfect combination.

I commend all the members or anyone willing to share that part of their life in the public eye. I now have a taste of how it might feel for a homosexual coming out of the closet. I feel in my heart my decision to have a doll is healthy, sane and also a whole lot of fun! But I also feel as though I would be ostracized or thought to be some sexual defiant and wouldn't feel comfortable letting people in on that. Don't think most of my family would care or real friends for that matter but I'm not ready to blurt it out! Perhaps more articles like these will change peoples mind and they can accept it's no big deal. Then these people will have been the pioneers on the front line. Maybe one of these crazy days we'll stop worrying about race, color, creed,,, and sexual preference, one can hope.
