I have not yet been to any meeting and am unsure about this years as well, though I would like to go and mix it with meeting friends in England again.
That stated, I have no idea of what you're doing along the sides of the meeting and you may well have done so already, but I came across a post totally unrelated elsewhere - http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=63090 - and thought I'd just bring up the idea that some of those fortunate enough to make it to the meet might consider to bring some of the stuff they do not really intent to use any longer so it could be exchanged among them to benefit all involved.
Just a thought.
Kind regards.

Hi mi6c,

Thanks for the suggestion, we do have a place that we set-up for the attendees to put clothing that they no longer require. It's very popular and last year had lots of items, lots of which were new :) . So, anyone attending, can take anything on offer on the table.

We'd love to see you at the meet mi6c, if you are seriously considering going, then send me a Pm and I'll fill you in on the details :)

To all who are still considering to join us at the UK/European Doll Meet 2015 and haven't booked yet,
it's just a little more than one month from today, 25-27th September.
There are still rooms available very nearby, but don't wait any longer to arrange your booking.
If you like to join, please send a PM to Kharn or to me.

:glou:

Hi, can someone tell me more about the doll meet. Where is it? How much is it and can I go to it? I am a newbie on here. I am in the process of buying a doll. I would love to talk, to come along and meet some nice people and of course some nice dolls.

Do let me know soon, please. Matt

We have a good number of first time attendees and new doll owners coming along this year, which is great!

I also makes me think its worth stating the unwritten rule of the dolls at the meet for everyone to know.

Each doll there has a financial and ,very likely, an emotional value to her partner/owner. Whilst many of the dolls will be on display unattended in the conference room, please do not touch without the owners consent. The last thing we want is a girl becoming damaged. Pretty much every owner there will be more than happy to gush about their girl(s) and show you pretty much what you want, so just go find the relevant member.

Oh, who wouldn't want to meet Lissa :plaidskirt: :D.

Two rooms left at the main hotel, not long now. So if you are still thinking about going, then post here and we'll contact you or email support@dollforum.com.

The meets are the best place to see all the different types of dolls, so they are perfect if you are thinking of buying but can't make up your mind :).
