I thank Obin for reminding me about the sub 4K market in the US, yes that is not in the same league nor is the former European manufacturer that is trying to restart in the US.

Funny then how DS can still manage good customer service in 'the sub 4k market'.

I think it's wonderful.

As I do, time for other companies besides the +4K market to step up their game if they want to compete.

Mistakes are costly and we hopefully learn from our mistakes. It is also very cost effective to learn from others mistakes and not your own.
Any potential doll maker would serve themself well to hang out on TDF for awhile.

Vanima wrote:No dear Harem, what you get teased for is your mistaken assumption that only DS has this level of customer support. DS does have stellar customer support, that is a given. However, it was a standard for the industry set long before DS even existed as a company by the American company that started it all. Now granted we don't know about the standards for Asian and European manufacturers as well as we do the American ones, but it is the standard for how American doll makers treat their customers and their dolls. That is not to take anything away from what DS does and it is appropriate to praise them for this level of support. What is inappropriate is misleading people to believe that only DS offers this level of support as that would be a violation of rule 10.
You're putting words into Harem's mouth. He never said DS is the only company that offers excellent customer service in this thread. He simply stated that he is confident in recommending them because of the level of service they have demonstrated time and time again. That is all. And no, Harem is not violating rule no. 10 by giving his opinion. Rule no. 10 has to do with false claims. His statement contains no false claims about products, companies, services, or people.

Please, lets not start another confrontation over this topic. I don't wanna have to be Al Capone over this kind of thing again.

I am sure harem does not think only DS has this level of support, Just that DS has shown it does have this level of support time and time again and that is an absolutely wonderful thing and why he can soundly recommend them to everyone.

If you know of other companies who have gone to these lengths, please do post about them in dolls in general or their respective manufacturer subforum! I would love to read stories of other dolls customer support both good and bad, its just such praise belongs in the other sub forums. I am sure harem would love to read them too so he can become better informed about recommending dolls to people. I have seen him recommend other dolls depending on the persons particular requirements, he is not 100% biased towards DS its just they fill a lot of peoples requirements at a very good price point.

dasmurf wrote:Yeh missed the one joint that actually breaks. The others are fairly strong welds. Circled in red is a weld that's particularly weak. This type of weld exists in several points on the doll and is susceptible to breaking. Never had to repair one before, but I'm going to guess that any member who has experienced a skeletal structure break observed that weld snapping.

That being said, dsdoll customer support IS awesome. They'll help you, I'm sure of it.

However, please keep in mind that buying a tube of sil-poxy is one of the best things you'll ever do for your doll. The vaginal walls are going to tear, and piercings (earrings included) you apply may stretch, and any parts that fall off or scrape away will need to be reapplied. Sil-poxy makes the job easy!
I don't know how to edit my original message. Don't see an icon anywhere. Anyway, here goes. My assertion above violates rule 10 of The Doll Forum because I did not provide any evidence for my opinion. However, by providing such information, I would be compromising my anonymity. As such, I will retract my statement. Despite my troubles, DSdoll has been gratuitously providing support during the entire crisis that I endured. I am overall very satisfied with their customer service.
