Greenway-Uk Scam or not?

I am interested in a doll from an Ebay seller called Greenway-uk who seems to have a good track record despite being based in China. I would like to know if anyone has bought any dolls off of this person or knows anyone who has before I part with my money.

Although this isn't an answer to your question, it is a tangential matter: TDF only supports TDF verified vendors.

It's a good idea to have posted here.

The bottom line is that the golden rule is to stay away from Ebay in the sexdoll arena like the plague.

If you are in the UK Stef at www.asiandolls.fr has been servicing UK customers for years and I bought one of my ladies from him.

There is also www.unique-dolls.com who have many customers through the UK Forum.

It's probably a good idea to post details of the sort of thing you're looking for and this will enable people to be able to give you helpful advice in one way or another.

Ebay is pretty good with protecting buyers, and with the automatic 21 day paypal hold it is extremely difficult for anybody to scam unless they knowingly violate their own shipping policies, etc.. I sell on ebay and find it so skewed in the buyers favour that I know 90% of the scams are from the buyers side of the transaction. I've looked at numerous doll listings on ebay and it would surprise me if more than 10% were out right scams. Most of those would involve bait and switch, which is easily mitigated with a request to supply actual pictures of item being sold. And then documenting the transaction. Best thing to do is list the actual auction, there's more than enough knowledge here to point out any obvious issues. If they have 100% feedback there's almost 99.99% chance you actually get what they are selling.

I would like to buy one but would like your observational skills to assess whether or not this poster was utilizing another companies pictures, or doll owner from this or other forum.

I have bought many things on ebay. Never silicone sex dolls though. I do wish you luck in your quest. It seems he has a few sex toys and dolls , but mostly mobile phone accessories

That doll looks like a Sanhui model. It can't hurt to get a quote from verified vendors.

A quick question. Have you seen that this doll is only 80cm tall? She looks bigger on the pictures. Could be pics of a bigger model of the same manufacturer or all the furniture and other stuff in the background has been made especially to size the scale of this doll!

That's very true, I was thinking the same thing. Also, it states that the doll is unused and un-opened. So, if that's true...where did these photos come from? Gotta be careful with sellers like this because they might send you a doll that looks similar to the doll in the pic, but it might not actually be the same doll (or even made of silicone for that matter). TPE dolls that size go for around the same price which is another red flag.

Good points, gentlemen. I'm at work and didn't look at the other photos.

For reference, you can take a look at photos of a Sanhui doll in this thread. http://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtopi ... 42&t=58721. Photos in that thread show an 88cm Sanhui doll.

There's only one 80cm silicone doll I know of, and it's not a Sanhui doll.

Ebay adverts like that need avoiding like the plague.

Sellers such as Stef, Beautiful Dolls here, Unique Dolls on the UK forum and 1AM know the product range like the back of their hand. There's a Chinese exporter who I encouraged to join here for the purposes of ease of communication and that's member Revell who you can PM. He's a nice guy and knows the whole range in China and will comment also.

Buying from one of the forum approved sellers guarantees that you get what you think you're getting and asking Stef is a good idea as he sells on account of his love for dolls and his desire to help others. His selling is a byproduct resulting from his enthusiasm rather than a knowledge merely gained through selling.

Not a scam. But questions I would ask before buying:

1)Is the doll pictured the actual sale doll or just a demo doll?
2)Are you dropshipping? Nothing wrong with dropshipping as long as its legal, but its good to know if he's just middleman and the product ships from another supplier.
3)I think the seller has the measurements wrong, have him send actual pictures with a measuring tape beside the doll.

The best part, he wants a sale. And may even take a Best Offer below his price to get his foot in the door in regards to feedback. You could take advantage of that.

he's sold 4 without any negative feedback and if it was the doll pictured it would be a great bargain, however this is normally a 120cm doll: http://www.iamdolls.com/products-87.html - I doubt they have the tech to 'shrink' it down to 80cm and for it to look exactly the same. Either way, they've used the 120cm pics so there's something amiss.

You could fire some questions at them and check their response but it looks a little too good to be true to me, especially as this doll is normally over $2000 - i.e. more than treble the price
