My second doll arrived from China just yesterday, purchased on Alibaba. Both times everything went smoothly. The product was the same exact item sold elsewhere for hundred of dollars more.

I can second third and forth all of what has been said in this thread.

I bought a doll from a vendor on Ebay. Claimed to be selling dolls with cosmetic/molding imperfections from the major doll-makers at discount. Went back and forth on it.

Doll #1 was perfect aside from the mentioned defects.

Doll #2 had a bad internal frame and literally collapsed under her own weight after less than two weeks of ownership, most of which had been spent in storage flat on her back.

It looks like it's going to go to full dispute due to the nature of the defect and the fact the item lasted around ten days. Taken out of box, stored per instructions, failed during/after first use in a catastrophic way becoming unusable.

And the worst part is, despite assurances that he'd stand by and make everything right no matter what -- his first and final offer was to sell me another doll basically at full price as the doll was "fine" when he shipped it.

...so there you have it. Long story short do NOT do business with Ebay sellers. AT ALL.

Yes, the pictures are same to WM, actually, there are many doll factory or doll company use the same pictures, because these pictures are beautiful and free, can you understand?

Each factory have their own pictures, but on the same time, they also use others pictures. We also have our own pictures, but it's cost a lot to make these pictures, some times, when there is a hot sale doll, we will buy one as sample, then our designer will develop the same sex doll in silicone. But in most first time, we use the pictures and the same time, we also make our own pictures. it need a long time.

There we always make a video for each doll, our own doll, our own videos.

You can also find there are many pictures on our website, some are same to others, but some are different to others. May be the face of the doll is same, but the hair color, the cloth, the eye color, even the skin color and meterails are different.

In general, we use both our pictures and the same pictures oh others,but when we produce the doll, we do ourselves. We will send the pictures or video to you once your doll is ok, only yu confirm the doll is no problem, then we will ship it to you, if not, you can ask for refund the money. That's we always do it.

So, it's doesn't matter of the same pictures, but it's about the quality and service! As, our 5 years experience in manufactureing sex dolls, there are more than 60 companies who are selling the sex doll, maybe in same pictures same designs, but there only 10 or less 10 factory who manufacture the sex dolls, some factory do it good, some factory do it poor, some factory do it in TPR or TPE, some factory do it in Silicone.

When it comes the oil, the TPR is most, then it's TPE, and the Silicone least. We do this a long time, and we want do it much longer, so we must do our best quality and service, that's why we only do the silicone dolls and offer our best quality and service.

Hi all. Looking for some advice, hoping this is the right place to post my question.

Any thoughts on some of the half doll / torso dolls that have seemingly been selling with positive reviews for some time on ebay for $140-300(links below)? They do seem legit considering they've been consistently selling hundreds of these for over a year or more;

-The cheaper doll is only head and torso, with the price justifiable due to smaller dimensions/proportions, which are seemingly more akin to perhaps an 'over-size', anatomically correct, very attractively 'molded' 'life-like masturbator', (ie. 2ft half doll 'torso' from head to waist).

-The more expensive 'OUDoll half torso' dolls have also had consistent presence and high seller ratings.

Thanks for all the advice and knowledge from everyone here on TDF. As a complete 'novice/greenthumb/rookie', I've been learning a lot thanks to the kindness and generosity of more experienced and knowledgeable TDF contributors.

OUDoll has attractive prices both on ebay and their website... but the logos don't match. i contacted the website, but didn't get a response to whether the ebay was associated with them.

OUDoll site is also goofy, no sort sizes above 140cm. have to enter the larger sizes in the search engine to see what comes up.

I don't trust them just because their doll pages are not consistent. one doll being labeled in bold at 170cm, is 165cm in the product description area. Plus they're using manufacturer photos, but may or may not list the manufacturer correctly (or they don't bother to list). "pornhub" is not a doll manufacturer for example.

the funny part of their site, is look at the comment section. seems "admin" posted comments on the same day on several dolls pretending to be a buyer, about how great they are.

I couldn't locate a version of oudoll_us online other than ebay.
I couldn't locate the torso from ebay on the oudoll.com website either.

Thank you very much for looking into this and providing this info... definitely seems to be deceptive marketing at best, although their reviews on ebay seem stellar. Another ebay seller, "hani_doll", has similar prices for 'ostensibly' high quality halfdoll dolls(~$250-300). They look incredible, and hani_doll has great ebay feedback as well... but what you've found just makes me weary of everything now lol.

I've decided to take a swing at the less expensive "no brand name" 'mini' halfdoll, getting it for $140 ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/363195562698)

I'm willing to risk it, since that seller and a few others have apparently sold thousands of this same brandless, smaller halfdoll over the past year, and they all have >95% seller feedback.

I'll report back and try post pics of it, hopefully they will be good ones and not pics of a half-inflated surprised looking balloon-woman

I have personally ordered 3 dolls from AliExpress. Jellynew is one such shop but you can no longer see any dolls listed. I guess there is a ban but you can still buy the same dolls via third-party redistributors stateside.

I'm not sure why they're being blocked. I would assume the government is intervening but the same dolls are for sale elsewhere and they're not banning all dolls.

I bet it's the resellers, to be honest. You can buy the same product on AliExpress for $100+ less. I just bought a mask after reverse image searching it from another website and am getting it for $150 less than the original website had it listed as because I bought it through AliExpress. A lot of products are like that these days, especially stuff from Amazon.

You could try going through a proxy or VPN and ordering it from another country, although I don't know if there will be shipping issues. I do see that a lot of dolls are listed as available when doing this on several sites, namely younger looking ones. That could also be the issue.
