I made this frame for Arleen , it makes it really easy to move her around and get her in great positions

Not a bad design Arleen - it looks like you built for easy tear down/set up ... but are you limited to the bedroom because of the size?

Nice wooden gantry my friend and they do work great to lift and suspend a doll for many purposes!

Not bad as mentioned.

Regarding the inside corner bracket at the base of the frame. Circled in the pic I copied.
This really doesn't add much strength on a frame that tall, unless the material is 3/8" hammer forged.
A 45 degree diagonal brace forward on one side and rearward on the opposite side of bed would be a great improvement.

Now if you lady is never swung forward or backward much should not be a problem. Or swung w/ your helping support should be fine.

The brackets are very thick and on both sides so no movement at all , the hole thing is on wheels so moves easy , 3 wheels a side . And yes very easy to un bolt to move .

Think I am going to add more pullies so it will be even easier to lift her . It really makes it much more fun when you don't have to hold her up in bed .

Hi, Arleen,

well done. But it seems you have something to do to improve the stability of your doll frame. 8 years ago I built a similar device. For the realization of the necessary stability I chose brackets with the dimension 200 × 300 (≈ 8 × 12 inches) in a welded implementation. To see the chosen bracket look at the pic.

this gantry is a great help for lifting Arleen from the bed and the addition of the pulleys makes it effortless, our backs don't get younger. A genius construction

Arleen the brackets are heavy weight shelf brackets normally found in the SHELVING section/department. I have a couple of heavy shelves for my cays to climb/run on and they work great.

I've bought this brackets at a construction market. To find these parts at do it yourself furnitures shop. These brackets are normally used to built wall mounted heavy racks. This assignment is used in Germany but I don't know the assignments in other countries.

Now thats some great work there...some of the RDs are a bit weighty in comparison the others on the market so very inovative solution.
