Just get some cardboard about the size of your doll, but make it equally wide and deep. So if your doll is 5 feet long and 12 inches wide and 6 inches deep, you would still want a box that is 5 foot x 12 inches x 12 inches. If you can't get a single piece of cardboard that is large enough, then get several pieces and tape them together. Use a few rolls of duct tape, so that it won't fall apart. Or you could use masking tape. Try to get it at lease a uniform color. So it looks like a box for something and not a mess. Now get a big fat marker, and label it "Christmas Tree." Your average bachelor uncle has zero interest in Christmas trees.

Probably the cheapest option would solve several problems at once. You seem to have issues with your father respecting your privacy and want to keep your doll hidden. Easiest and cheapest would be to buy a deadbolt lock for your room. Keeps people from invading your privacy and keeps your man secret.

I'm probably going to use the bag. I've thought about it, and there might be an old trunk out in the garage that he can hide in once we're there. He should be able to if he curls up. Honestly, there's no way of knowing if my dad has told my uncle about it yet. I doubt it though. He doesn't gossip with my uncle like he does with my friend. My friend is also his home health aid, so they gossip a lot he talks to her about me all the time.

I have a large corodura nylon duffle bag with wheels that fits my 5'2" PIB bathing beauty. Using the Christmas tree idea above, there are bags made for artificial trees that may just fit your needs. You can cover
your doll with clothes when you move. Here are just a few to give you an idea.
