Just a quick follow-up on Dark Sally Hansen spray-on tan - holding up great so far. Also found a great USA based clothing seller on E-Bay costyle2012 that has reasonably priced very hot outfits - if they are your taste. Llayne is 155cm DD so I got small sizes and looks great on her.
Guess what guys?? Just gave Llayne a bath and removed Sally Hansen Dark Glow and it permanently left TAN in skin - She looks totally awesome !! There was some minor tan transfer before bath to white clothes but not any more. This is the best product ever for tan.
okay, lessons learned so far, a roller wastes too much product hands when using cream is the only way. Also, it dries quick so do a whole body part at a time. As in a whole leg, A whole arm, torso and so forth. I found it dries quite fast and applying wet on dry before it sets is not a good idea. So far its a bit blotchy but I'm assuming its like paint. The first coat will be as its a base and subsequent coats will be better (or so I hope). I'll keep progress updated:)
I think I have application of the Sally Hansen cream sussed. Apply heavily with hands doing a whole body part at a time. Then quickly whilst wet roll of excess cream with a paint roller. this takes care of the excess but also evens out the tan cream applied by hand. I'm only on the second coat and so far the job is done. Even and perfectly bronze from a pale PALE white. I'm going to apply a third coat because well I have spare tanner so why not. but yer it was a lot easier than expected on the second coat:):):
The absolute key to doing a tan is not be in any hurry. Yes - Sally Hansen dries fast but if you take your time it pays off enormously. If you add too many coats it will transfer to clothes is a draw back. Speaking from newbie experience. I left the tan on about a month then after a bath removing it - the tan had mostly transferred into skin - I have no Sally Hansen on Llayne atm.
She is getting ready to go to beach and learn surfing.

Sally Hansen airbrush legs - Tan Tips N Tricks - So I know some of you have less patients than others - When you apply toooooo thick a coat of Sally Hansen ( like spraying directly on skin - Not Not Not a good idea - use a foam small roller for thin coats ) end up with blotchy cloud look here's what I do to fix it - Take a spray bottle of hot water and USE bare hands to smooth skin to more even tan (some tan will be removed but not much) - this will pill up excess tan goo you put on - You need to use light massage strokes with hands only - do not wear gloves of any kind. Time it takes to smooth tan depends on how much excess tan to smooth - Hopes this helps others - BTW I did spray direct on skin as a test and it piles up and cracks when dry if it ever dries.
So just to be clear.
You used Sally Hanson leg makeup, right?
And after a month roughly you rinse it off, with just water?
After application, will mineral oil affect it? Or is the TPE permanently stained?
F P,
After a month I gave Llayne a full bath - the soapy water removed surface level tan but some tan was left behind. I real oiled her (oil will remove 90 % of tan initially ) Seems the repeated tanning penetrates deeper into skin which for me is a bonus. I have tanned her 4 times and each time her skin retains a bit deeper tan after full bath.
I never liked her out of the box pseudo-orange pinkish skin so I like the more realistic tan skin a lot. Mineral Spirits will remove light new coats of tan in first couple of days but after that baby oil works better and safer for me.
