Clothes not fitting

Has anyone ever bought clothes or lingerie for their doll online and it not fit?
The reason I ask is I bought several things from Yandy and Lingerie diva and a few items don't fit and I can't get a refund because either the tags haven been removed (stupid me) I washed them already or the return date has ended.
I might just end up selling them as a lot on here soon because I don't want to fool with eBay

What's ya'll thoughts?

Thanks
ILFnL

This has happened to me before. I much prefer to buy used and in person sometimes. Selling them on here is a good move. Many doll owners love buy for their lady dolls nice things

Are they too big or too small or just completely wrong ILFM?
If they're too big you can just cut them up the back and use stick on Velcrow to fasten them.
Post some pics if you like and see if anyone has ideas!

Their way too big especially the white lace Chemise it's a size M and CeCe needs to wear a size XS.

I'll post some pics later when I find the time.

Here are the pics I promised the emerald satin set is a small, the Royal satin robe set is a medium, the stretch lace blue dress is a one size fits all (not lol) and last but not least the white lace Chemise is a medium.

What a shame! They're beautiful clothes! Are you sure you can't gather some of them in at the back to see whether they could be altered? You could try to pin them up using safety pins to avoid catching the skin of your doll when taking them off again. That way you'll at least be able to measure the size you actually need but also see if they can be trimmed and sewn back up! There are some members here that make clothes that may be able to help!
If you want to sell them you can put them in the sales section but you'll need to measure them (not just give sizes) as it is difficult to tell whether they'll fit a doll just from photos as you have found out! Good luck mate!

That's one of the reason, why I prefer to buy at retail. I usually take a tape measure with me to check the size of the important parts of the clothes I may buy.

I have a small anecdote about buying online:

Two months ago I found cute panties online, but was totally unsure, if I should buy, because of the size. However there was a negative amazon review for it, which said something like "the size is too small, it would probably only fit a doll". This was the moment I decided to buy it. And the review was totally rigt. It fits my doll perfectly.

Yeah the emerald I might be able to safety pin in because it's only one size bigger.
The white Chemise is another story it's a medium and huge on her there's a bit of room in the cups too and wouldn't want to stuff them. lol!! The other 2 items not sure about the blue lace dress is stretchy so I'm not sure if safety pins will do any good.
I might just end up selling them and if I can sell them all together even better.

I found out that the Royal blue halter dress actually fits her, a little big in the hips but that's not a big deal since it fits good in the boobs and wiast area.
I tried the matching panties first they were a bit big so that's why I thought the dress would be too. The other 3 items I will end up selling soon though.
if anyone is interest PM me?

Sorry to bump this thread but have two more items I might sell that still have the tags on them if anyone is interested?

I'll take some photo's a description and size of each item.
A short description of the 2 items are long sleeve lace up bodysuit and a Strapless multi way Bra in 32a. I would return them but don't wanna ask my Mom to return sexy women's clothes lol! and I don't like calling them so I just thought I would at least try this place first instead of loosing $40.

Cutting them up the back and attaching Velcro is a great idea!!!!

I'll soon be making a thread in the for sale section and try to sell all of them together or take offers for individual pieces.

It happens to real women too.
I tend to stick to low costed items off eBay .. it its a loss, its a small loss.

Go slow when buying items. You get better and better at knowing what will fit. Start cheap. When you know what fits your doll, then try something more expensive for a treat.

You could always try to modify them to fit yourself. A couple pairs of xs panties from Victoria's Secret didn't fit, so I got a needle and thread and took them in a little bit. Problem solved. Was glad I didn't waste the kind of money Victoria's Secret panties cost.....
