I honestly say that I did not know the word "belligerent" and therefore searched for it in the translation
combative, belligerent, aggressive, pugnacious, militant, truculent
Agressively, my Lissie is definitely not, but I describe her rather with the word Sassy as LoneRanger indicated

Had the same thing happen to me in 2001. First ride in an ambulance for me and almost 2 weeks in the hospital!! I did quit smoking cigarettes from 3 packs a day to zero and never looked back!!

I am sure you beautiful ladies missed you big time and are overjoyed to have you back home!!
