Ha ha ha, great Gif image Hollows. Loads of fun.
Sorry about my post mid your post. A little trick I noticed Samurai did is reserve the next two or three posts he needs to retain continuity.

Anyway, again, great sets and an awful lot of fun to look through.

Sadly, this might be the last I will be able to post of Yi and Yong for a while. I picked Yi up after the last shoot with Vivette putting her shoes on and her back has now broken. I was gentle with her but it must have been the last straw. She'll now have to await surgery as I can't risk any more damage. She already has a broken hip. Yong also needs more repair too to her leg where I've already closed it up and it's broken again! Also, her wounds need closing up around her shoulders which I hadn't finished because of the 'extra' breakage.

Sorry if you're a fan of them (as indeed I am!) but they'll have to go back in their boxes for a while now! They may be out for family shoots occasionally but I can't risk any more breakages! They are such beautiful dolls and it's such a shame that the skeletons were so prone to brittle breakage on these first gen DS100s.

Cheers, Hollows.

Oh no ....... a broken back .......... not that little angel.
The world is sometimes not fair. :shakefist:
I was with pleasure your last submission viewing and automatically got a big smile on my face. :D
Those last entries had such a witty story line ..... and then that sad message came .... I think this is so bad :(
I am already looking forward to the continuation of this story ... unfortunately ...... I fear...... it will not come anymore .
Good luck in these hard days Hollows ... I hope you can fix them

Awe that sweet Angel. I am sure things will work out in the end for the girls and all will be well in the hollows world of beauty and fun! I agree that Ashaki was and is entertaining all on her own, but now it's heightened the the fun with all the girls. She is a great mentor and you are one fantastic entertainer hollows, not to mention a loyal well rounded gentleman ... Just love the antics ... Well done my friend. IG :glou:

This makes me very sad indeed. Yi and Yong have gone thru some hard times and no fault of their own. Just imagine that DS had sent them is a safe and secure box instead of a paper bag......Oh well that's why I won't ever buy directly from them again, ever.........

Thanks for your well wishes VD, IG and Lone!

I had planned much more with the little ladies involved, including a much longer GIF. However, I must be sensible here and make sure they don't get damaged beyond repair! I hope I've got enough replacement parts as the second gen minis have different skeletons now and I don't know if any old parts are still available! I may have to make my own!

Ashaki and Vivette are feeling a bit sad too and I had to reassure them it was nothing they did! Yi and Yong are sitting on a chair at the moment as I can't face putting them away just yet! Here's a photo of them being mischievous that might cheer everyone up! Lone has already seen it but I haven't posted it here!

Some lovely photo's there Mr hollow's. You have certainly come along way with your photography since we first became friends.
I'm a little jealous. I love your mini girls. I'm still away for work at the moment but had a little time to check in with TDF. I hope sally is not getting lonely at home, it would be nice for her to have a companion.
love the bright colours too. Must very very hot summer weather there now...hehehe.
Oz.

Oh what a great shame. Poor little Yi and Yong. A brief but very eventful time here but at least they had their 15 minutes of fame.
So, off to the health spa for those two then. Good luck with the surgery. Let's hope we see them again in a while.

Unfortunately the master of repair is here in the USA for Yi and Yong. Not sure if shipping to Detroit and back be $$ reasonable verses never really getting them repaired correctly....

I don't know but I have samara78 on speed dial, all 3 of my boxes are stored with her address on them just in case.......

But I do have REAL boxes as so proudly displayed by DS during their big intro to the world!!

I saved their pictures because I was impressed, what made me go for them in the 1st place, plus not taking the head off.....

The fact that they switched boxes on me on my 2nd mini ordered was in fact a breach of contract, but what can you really do.......It also is one of the reasons (jmho) that customs jumped on these after the box switch occurred. Because the combined weight of the original box and doll was over 60 lbs, more work to open and just another doll, but the light one SCREAMED small doll...)

Poor things must have thought they were on a fairground ride without a seat belt with those TNT carriers!

You know, for being so smart on making these little people, why not take a cue from Phicen and pack them in a plastic clam shell with molded Styrofoam....

Meet us half way - Don't go from a Cadillac to Yugo - try a Chevy or Ford first....
