This is exciting news! It's uncommon for an 'intro' thread to carry on 5 pages before the beautiful lady arrives, so I think several of us are anxious to see she makes it safely.

Duty & Taxes are a Gov't thing, separate and apart from your purchase... just the way it is. Different localities have different local and state taxation levels, so expect as much as 17% of your purchase price to be your maximum.

Yes! It's that AV Actress who came by DS Factory for some unknown reason. I don't know her name but I bet everyone watched this already::

I kinda wish they sculpt a more famous AV actress or veteran AV and my first vote for the list is the angelic face of Risa Tsukino or Sora Aoi. Either of the two, I would buy them no matter what their prices are as long as a sculpt is made for their angelic faces. Rina for me is a must or if I can find a doll closer to her and if there's none, Sora would be my next one and also my longing AV Actress before Risa but Risa is angelic, cute and beautiful while Sora is just cute and sexy. Either of the two for me if there's a manufacturer that can do them in Silicone.

The name of the actress is Nanase, and the reason she visited the factory was the launch of the Nanase face, made to look like her face. It´s the face of my DS doll Fabienne.
If you look at the shape of her body I suppose it inspired the 158 plus body that I picked for the Nanase head.
There are a lot more famous AV actresses but I really love the way that face turned out. Fabienne is my little princess.

Yeah I did, The duties were around $110. But I'm not sure how FedEx handles this.. You may have to pay the duties before delivery or you might get billed for it at a later date... It will interesting to hear how it goes... Anyways your lady is on her final stretch and will impressing you soon in more ways then one.. LOL!!! Can't wait to hear your thoughts about her and see more pics... Once again congrats and get ready for the honeymoon you'll never forget....

Sooooooooo......she arrived at 10:30 yesterday morning!!!!! I had just enough time to clean off the powder and have a good look at her before heading to work and all I can say is wow, wow, wow! I have looked at a lot of pictures that have been posted here that are great, but they do look like a doll. My girl looks real....there is no other way to describe her! The details are amazing! For a first doll I do not think that I could have done better. I do not get a day off until Tuesday, so it is going to be a long three days and pictures will be forthcoming. A huge thanks to Doll Sweet and George at X/S for a job well done. In case I had not mentioned it before, her name is 美琳 (Mei Lin). Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and support! Mark

Yes - NaNaSe is capable of some really wonderfully wicked looks and she's seductive.

It's really wonderful to hear that you're overwhelmed. DS dolls do seem so real, alive. It's really good to find you as a newbie to dolls taking connoisseurs' advice and going for a DS as your first doll. As this is the DS dolls section I won't be murdered for saying that DS are . . . rather good . . . and that TPE dolls are . . . toys in comparison. For a start the makeup on your doll won't fade and you'll find shading even on the soles of her feet which makes her look a lady of flesh and blood. And the feel . . .

Powder her with talc . . .

As your friend, I'm obliged to tell you some offended forum members are assembling a crew of ne'er-do-wells with pitchforks and hot butter knives (for the inevitable TPE repairs). I'm hoping NaNaSe arranges your safe passage to Chloe in France were you're likely to be safe until the mob disperses. Not only are DS dolls 'rather good', as you mentioned, they also tend to be quick on their feet and crafty thinkers.

You might also consider cornstarch instead of talc. Regular cornstarch for cooking will absolutely do. It's also sold as baby powder. Cornstarch is safer than talc if inhaled; yes, you will. : )
