ok, for those who have no clue what a Merkin is... here's the definition.

A Merkin is a pubic wig. Merkins were originally worn by prostitutes after shaving their genitalia, and are now used as decorative items, erotic devices, or in films, by both men and women.

How does this pertain to Dolls? -- I'm glad you asked...
Short of the tedious task of ROOTING individual strands of hair to your doll's nether regions, or simply experimenting with other alternatives, a Merkin may be the best choice to get that look you want her to have while not causing any irreparable harm to her.

Application...
Using nothing more than Spirit Gum (used to apply cosmetic prosthetic for costumes and make-up) and a small art brush. Position the Merkin where you want it to be (trim as required). Begin by folding the Merkin off the skin surface and apply Spirit Gum in small amounts, Press the Merkin over the wet Spirit Gum and hold -- Spirit Gum dries quite quickly. Continue with a series of DOTS with Spirit Gum until you reach the edges. Do the same for the remainder of all unattached portions of the Merkin.
Removal is a simple reversal using Commercial Spirit Gum remover, which is the best for removing Spirit Gum. Ordinary rubbing alcohol or fingernail polish remover can be used effectively. If none of these are available, cold cream, baby oil, soap and water, and/or persistence will suffice.

Spirit gum is an adhesive, made mostly of SD Alcohol 35-A (the solvent, or "spirit") and resin (the adhesive, or "gum"), used primarily for affixing costume prosthetic such as wigs, Merkins, or false facial hair, like eyebrows, eyelashes, and moustaches. It has been manufactured since the 1890s, and has long been a standard tool in theatrical performances where prosthetic makeup or affixed costuming is used.

They originally used beaver skin, which is why we refer to women as "beavers" today.

There cheap. I like that. They are basically the same thing that RD was selling. They charged a lot more though. Of course theirs was part of a kit that included the adhesive and some skin tone pigment. It was still too high though. The chest hair looks like a better deal.

I Have put in a purchase order for a Merkin from Moustache Palour. If I find their product to be of sufficient quality, I will be recommending they become a registerd TDF Vendor.

It took a while to shift thru all the re-sellers and vendors out there to find the Moustache Parlour... perhaps they can even make eyebrows... that would be great to have to deal with only one supplier instead of many.

You post this hours after I spend 1/2 a day punching hair

Oh well. Nice catch to be honest as there really isnt much out there for Merkins. I spent a long time looking and came up with nothing but the PussyCat Patch, which seems a little 'thick' to me

The Pussy Cat Patch resembles a piece of shag rug, but that's just my opinion... in my book, there's nothing wrong with a fur burger and side of thighs. hehe.

I completely agree, and its all the better if they manage to keep the lettuce and gherkin tucked neatly in the bun too
