Can you use Vaseline petroleum jelly as lube with TPE dolls?

I've had about four "sessions"
with her since I got her home. All I got in the way of lube is Vaseline jelly. Is this a bad idea? I've heard water based lubricant is best for TPE so I just wanna be sure this is okay. Because this petroleum jelly actually feels really good. It warms up after time.

I have been using Vaseline (petroleum) for lube for a few weeks and it's my favorite. I was using water base lube but it does not help with TPE care. With Vaseline u are doing both at the same time. Also it repels water so cleaning is a lot faster.

What if it gets in your dick though? I mean lube is mostly water, but is vaseline potentially not as good for you?

I've been wondering about this too. Fleshlight says mineral oil breaks down their sleeves but some doll folks say it's good for tpe.

pssh I masturbater with vasoline long before tpe was invented.
If you like the way it feels just look at it as killing two birds with one stone open the box and preventive maintenance LOL

I use it on my TPE doll. No problems, it's good for her as a treatment, and its good enough for me as a lube. Nowhere as slippery as real lube, but its great for if she's on top, it won't just run out and down her leg or drip all over your crotch/bed. and if you ejaculate outside you can save yourself the cleanup. There's some perks.
I wouldn't dare use it on a Silicone doll, however.

the trick is to pack enough vasoline in there before using any water-based lube so she don't get stinky , vasoline will keep water-based lube from setting up a mold factory in the vagi-vag-vag

How do you clean the Vaseline out? I assumed with water, but not sure and I can't find any advice on this part of it. Also do you mean you can leave the Vaseline inside to be absorbed sometimes instead of cleaning? Just got my first TPE doll today and trying to lurk through as much info as I can. Not wanting to make mistakes.

Hi Irieon, welcome to TDF and congratulations to your first TPE doll.
You're right. While we actually are working at a thread about that topic, which has been posted
here, the cleanup-process hasn't been mentioned there (yet).
I would advice you to use a paper kitchen towel, fold it a few times until it's handy, and then wipe the remaining Vaseline carefully off of her skin around the labia and inside the cavity.
If you leave it there, it would soak in, that's right.
However, removing it could also be considered as a cleaning measurement.
Which can safe you from that extra step (always check if everything is clean though).
