I don't understand it, either. I get tired of spending vast amounts of time searching for REAL, ACTUAL pics of a doll and a head I'm interested in but all I find are "glamour shots" with most of the doll covered in clothes, only taken in the best light at the most flattering angles. Its almost like people feel others might be offended or something if they show the "vaginal cavity" or any actual nakedness like its actual porn or something. So its extremely difficult to find out what a particular doll actually looks like.
I don't want to see a doll pic where its set up to look like a real person. I want to see the doll itself from all angles so I can make a decision about the doll based on its own merits, not props and such. Here is how I presented my torso leg from WM when I got it:

See, no B.S., just the torso leg in all its realness. The next doll I get, if I ever am able to acquire enough info on a doll that makes me want to buy it, I'll present her to everyone here in the exact same way.

I have to agree, I'm getting annoyed by all the high resolution 'glamour shots', done by professional photographers and expensive cameras. They are trying to make the doll look like a real woman. I would be willing to bet they are 'doctoring' the images by smoothing out the seam lines and such. When I received my doll I quickly realized the shortcomings. The photos made it look much 'thicker' than it actually was. Arms and legs were spindly. I want to see regular photos of the actual doll companies are selling from all angles without clothing.
