my 108cm doll lost another finger, now 2 fingers left, I think I have to try your way to fix them,

Hope the manufactures Dolls, do some upgrades to avoid this problem,

Just a quick check, do you all know about the finger bone replacement surgery in this thread?

It looks like WM added springs to the finger wires at the wrist place because the most usual place that finger wires break is right at the wrist plate when the fingers get bent back such as in doggy style and the hand sinks into the bedding, or the tragic moving the doll through the door method of ripping off her fingers.

I have been also working on a wrist plate and finger bone replacement unit.
I have about given up on plastic as the volume needed to have enough friction in a joint is too great to put into the cavity left by wires. But then again, everyone might go gaga over just having finger bones.

My current ideas are working with jointed piano wire. But i have to get my shop working again before doing that level of work.
