Hello everybody.
This is my first post, but I've been a doll lover for years, and now I decided to buy one! I'm very interested in jy dolls, because they look good and they have a reasonable price.
Anybody can confirm it's safe buying from --Non-verified Vendor--? I couldn't find any clear information or review about it.

Thanks in advance!

Some vendors use jy dolls. My doll is a jy doll and the quality seems top notch to me (I’m still a newb). I got mine via sexy real sex dolls an approved vendor by tdf.

This non approved vendor has been discussed many times here.

This vendor has even claimed to be the genuine factory vendor, but this is NOT the case.

The legit factory vendor is www.jydoll.com , however while they are the JY's factory reseller they are NOT TDF apporved as a maker or vendor.

That said feel free to contact the TDF accredited vendors who may stock or resell the genuine premium JY doll models.

Vendors can promote them on their own sites, just not on TDF, so browse arround the vendors websites if you want the genuine premium article.

Thanks you all for your answers.

I didn't realize jydoll.com was the legit factory vendor, so I'll consider this when I'll place my order.

Otherwise, it seems more safe to browse around the approved vendors.

If you want a reliable doll don't go for JY.

I was very enthusiastic and encouraging of JY and I could see that their quality was improving, especially under the eye of their development director Ray. But JY decided to go in the other direction and Ray resigned.

Quality of TPE is good but quality of skeleton leaves annoying niggles that significantly detract from enjoyment of their dolls.

I have two JY dolls. One has loose ankles so cannot stand by herself. Both have loose wrist rotation joints, my second doll with significant play in the joint, and cannot be posed. The wrist rotates back to its free position. On the second doll, she doesn't have hinged wrists and so her wrist wires will break, and her neck joints are only just tight enough so that when they loosen only a little her head will flop forward.

Go for a TDF approved brand doll.

Best wishes

When researching JY dolls, be sure to focus on reviews of dolls bought at least in 2017 and better yet, since last month. JY started using new TPE formulation and enhanced skeleton beginning in 2017 and starting in October 2017, upgraded the skeleton again. I have a new JY and she is absolutely awesome. She has no unpleasant TPE odor, amazing range of motion/posability and just doesn’t seem to have the issues you see people complain about with some other doll brands. Well my JYs I'm talking about are from May and September this year - so the bottom line is that quality is variable. There's no answer to that other than . . . avoid.

Here is a reason why going through a vendor is better and I could be wrong.
Imagine you get a doll from a MFR
Some thing goes wrong, what can you really do?
Suppose you get that same doll, but from a vendor like SSD or BCD, you have a layer of protection because if they do not take care of you, I will tell them they have given me no other choice to go public with pictures and not carry their dolls.
Just a little bit different.
If getting the skeleton with upgraded neck, hinged, any maker, from what I have seen so far, ask for tight joints on the neck.
Of course, this is based on a small sample of 20 JY dolls adopted out and two bad necks.
Jinsan might do alot better job, right?

And how many loose wrist rotations and loose ankles?

One of the problems is that JY dolls often come to newbies who don't know what to expect so think that some things are normal.

Yes - Jinsan do do a better job and care more about their dolls.

JY only care about widgets.

You are correct.
I share that data because 1 out of ten is not good and numbers do not lie.
That is worse than my goose neck numbers.
200 jinsan dolls adopted out, two bad necks.

Jeff not only knows a lot of dolls but he's an enthusiast. Like me he's enthused about JY in the past and if now he's giving the advice above, his opinion's worth listening to.

Ok...All JY dolls ordered with the upgraded chassis post Oct 2017 have this chassis.

So ensure you ask for a post OCT 2017 manufactured and premium doll of going JY dolls.

The new chassis is fine, trust me on this one

Aiersha (JY dolls) current Chassis Oct 2017 onwards....

And the wrist rotation joints can have play and can be loose.

And my 148 doll does not have the hinged wrists.

JY were making to different qualities whilst Ray was working for them but their thrust is low price and that low price means that quality control is not funded. JY are interested in making as many widgets as possible as cheaply as possible. They're not interested in the long term of good dolls.

They're not approved at TDF for one reason, or one reason and another.
