It was 6 years ago today that Shuri arrived and became one of my favourite gals to shoot, although her dark cocoa tpe meant I had to up my game a tad, especially with lighting but when I get it right then she really shines! As is often the case, I've had my best results taking her pics outside using natural light, especially in combination with a gold reflector and I'm hoping we can do that again this weekend, weather permitting. Here's a bunch of pics from her back catalogue included a few that had been lurking on my phone waiting to be sorted....

Unfortunately storm Kathleen meant there were no outdoor pics of Shuri today, it was just too damn windy! so we had to be content with a few pics in the conservatory. For these Shuri has borrowed Mellisa's wig as it's a nice one and fits her well, oh and she's got a new belly button piercing

Strong winds kept us inside again today but we did get some welcome sunshine so I bagged a few more pics of Shuri before whisking her away for an overdue 'spa day'

Thanks! Shuri has just had her wash and oiling and I dug out this dress for her which she hasn't worn since 2018. Those with a WM157b will know it can be a challenge to find stuff that fits but this dress is spot on, wish I could remember where I got it from!
