Looks great! Reminds me of VAM and other VR games. Keep it up!

I never saw those before, I'm going to check those out better. I'm surprised there isn't more on the Forum about them. Or is there?

I think the new cover for the top looks pretty good. Check it out.

Your cyborgs torso movement is eerily real-like

I think your approach for the spine/torso is genius

are you using two or four motors for a single spine?

I was thinking that three wires would suffice, as you can move in all directions with three with no need of fourth wire.

Thank You. Thank You.

The full spine is an upper and lower component. Each component uses 2 motors. That's the 4 wires. There is a tiny bit of slack in a wire pair per axis, but I take it up with springs. Unless you did something elaborate, 3 wires would need 3 motors? Is that what you had in mind?

Currently the upper component, is not actuated. The drive box supports 4 motors, but I took the top 2 motors off to focus my attention on the arms. My goal is to have the arms move the bot about and roll over.

LoL, Your welcome. Youtube broke that video. I tried to trim it, and the audio got very out of sync. I hope you caught the remake of that vid on my channel.

Well it's not really "how you do it ?" who is important but "how you see it ?" i mean a augmented reality headset will be the best i think because doing AR with a cellphone is not really fun on the long term , the only good AR is with glasses i think , so you can really have the blade runner effect of mixed reality . I did a video about 4D who is AR with glasses like VR , you can check my old topic here

I agree with that. I think the main ingredient is face tracking. Whether it's on a cell phone or an XR display like this...

I justed wanted to show how easy it really is.

FINALLY, after 7 years, 3 axis Torso working. 2 axis lower segment (below the ribcage), single axis in the rib cage.

Enjoy.

short game playthrough. Something like this could be played on any doll, mannequin, or robot in AR using face tracking
