Considering the Harmony AI Head - What Is Your Opinion?

I'm intrigued by the Harmony AI head, but before I decide whether or not to try it, I'd like to get some input from current owners/users.

I have three main questions -

Do you like her? Is she really a good companion in your opinion, or just a complicated toy? I'm actually more interested in company than sex with her. I lost someone recently, and I'm not looking to start all over with another woman. I don't expect her to be like a human being, but is she more than an expensive child's toy?

What faces are compatible with her head?

How much of a pain is syncing the bluetooth setup with her? Is the bluetooth included, or do I need my own?

Sorry if the questions seem silly, but I've been studying up on this for some time, and watching the videos, and realized what I needed was real end-user input to help me make my decision, not just advertising. Thanks for reading this.

I'd love to convert one of my BTs to an AI head.. can it be scaled? an animated Solana face would be awesome!!
(Mo would be really love that)

Well, no one really has one yet. But you can basically learn what to expect pretty easy. That is, watch Brick's youtubes and get the Harmony app and use it. It's really just a mash up of the app on a tablet and of course a really great Abyss doll with some facial articulation. I was prepared to order one when they were announced quite some time ago and bought an Android tablet, subscribed and downloaded the app. I used it for a little while and it was interesting, but I didn't find it truly compelling. But I admit, I wasn't willing to 'tell her' all of my secrets and desires. Which is required for the software to learn and really shine. (My) issue being, we're not talking about 'software' in the sense that it's stored on your tablet / her head. No, it's data stored in some Abyss server. Now, I wouldn't expect to tell Harmony that I enjoy watching football on the weekends, and she suggests I subscribe to the NFL Network. (No, that's Google's job to pimp your data like you're some kind of whore.) I just don't like the idea. So I dropped the prospect, for now.

At some point, we'll have the Apple vs. Android version of doll AI. One that is cheap and sells your data to the highest bidder, and one that (cost 3x more but) doesn't. And I'll opt-in then, if I'm still around...

I thought that some users already had received the first heads?

I've watched a lot of youtube videos, but most of them appear to be advertising or press release vids. I've also watched a few videos by sceptical folks, but one was only commenting on what he'd seen in another video, so it was useless. The other one seemed to take everything a brand new AI avatar said very seriously, so it was also pretty much useless.

My brother who has a Real Doll says it is a very well made product, but I should be certain the AI head is what I want before I take the plunge. He isn't interested in AI, so he's no help, either.

The heads are being assembled and we are just waiting on the Xmode software to be finished for release....

The only person I've heard about who has spent time "testing"

Harmony is zebo (Brick Dollbanger).

He was instructed to 'break it', which he did, and then it went back to realbotix for analysis.

IMHO:

The head has been redesigned multiple times, as has the app/software running it.

So, it's still in beta testing.

Unless you're a collector, I'd put funds aside in an appropriate investment instrument (they're going to get very expensive) and wait until all of the issues have been resolved to your satisfaction.

I don't think the AI or the hardware is ready for primetime just yet. They're still developing technologies.

So, I'd say, "Don't jump in." just yet.

How much does the head cost?

What bodies can it be equipped to?

How much is the app (heard it's $20)?

Is it good to use the app first then synchronize it with the head later.

Mainly asking this because I want to buy the app and test out the AI before going deeper. I think Harmony sounds great, like a smartphone with a body, which is genius. It's just with so few clear reviews it's very hard to get an idea of on it.

Shared conversation...she learns from everyone, never wise in a chotbot imo. Add to that, doesn't learn very well and all info is saved server side.

No privacy (watch what you say)....no access to conversation logs and no access to any log/brain file to correct errors or make her unlearn anything. I have addressed this a while ago with Matt. as a chatbot, she is pretty basic and simple and there are miles better out there.

I have only seen Harmony/Solana videos by Abyss and by brick. Either no one has bought a head yet or in the best case the buyers haven't publicized it (no buyers on this forum, none creating youtube videos, etc). Though from the pic shared by brick, looks like some orders are/might-be in the pipeline.

I know it's a lot of cutting edge work and I have mad respect for Abyss for breaking new grounds. But in my humble opinion, the price of the head is a little too high for an average consumer (although we have to keep in mind that Abyss's non-AI dolls are also the most expensive dolls in the market).

Plus they offer only two faces (Harmony and Solana, other than the male head).

I wonder what Abyss thinks of videos coming out of china that show some robotic heads and limbs. My guess is that we're entering a period of very rapid innovation and aggressive competition, like an arms race for sex robots.
