That's awesome. I've always dreamed about a RealDoll like I've dreamed about own a Ducati (I ride a high-end motorcycle, just not one with such and awesome brand name).

This sale puts the base robotic-head doll out on the market for only $10k - that's a lot lower than I was expecting and is a big move on their part.

Is there any talk of an offline mode for the app? I saw it had limited offline functionality but really, these days any personal computer can be a cloud server. I was looking at other products like this (namely Ai-Aitech) that also requires an account and online access to use it. It seems like a big privacy issue.
