How to dry your Fleshlight?

One of my fleshlights has this mould on the inside of it. I was absolutely disgusted when I saw it because I was still using it a couple days ago. I did some research and it's probably because it was wet. How do you dry the inside of your fleshlight?

Aquarium pump, like how you would dry out any doll.

a fan.. might work but imo an aquarium air pump is best.

I use a Tetra Whisper 100 air pump, which cost me about $45. I could probably have gotten away with just getting the Whisper 20 model, which is only $23, but wanted to make sure the pump I got was strong enough to do the job.

Another way:
- After using FL, use some alcohol (cheap to buy from a pharmacist)
- After cleaning, roll up a napkin or something similar and put it in, wait a bit and pull it out slowly.
- Just let the FL dry over night while not in it's "container".

Never had mold like this, done this for over a year.
1 exception: when the FL will won't be used for a long time, let it dry for longer.

I used close to a dozen fleshlights over many years, never drying the inside (besides shaking it a little). I just left them outside the case and never had any visible mold problems, though they would smell a little funky sometimes. A quick rinse took care of that.

If it already has mold in it I would be very careful. I cannot find the exact post but someone said once there is mold it has already spread and their is roots deep in the silicone/tpe. I would be very careful and see if anyone else has some thoughts on that. Me personally, I would not insert myself in any toy that has had mold in it just for peace of mind. Perhaps wait till the next sale and load up on something even sexier?

I just rinse with luke warm water and then rinse with 90% isopropyl alcohol. Use a blow dryer on low heat and hang on towel rack for a few minutes.

I stick tampons in all my toys. Keeps them dry and clean and I've been doing it for years never had any mold.

I just ordered some tampons the other day for this reason. I'm looking forward to trying this out.

I hang mine on the Towel rod in the shower, after cleaning with water and sex toy cleaner, a day or so later when it is mostly dry I will just sit it in the holder to dry out for a day or so more, dryness is the key for me... :scatter:

How do you use an aquarium pump to dry a Fleshlight or doll? I've never heard of that! What is the process?

After I am done with a fixed insert I will rinse it out with the enema kit included with my doll. I will then spray straight alcohol 93% inside and try to swish it around. I will then stick a $10 aquarium pump inside and let sit for a few hours. It shoots air and although it does not do a lot, it definitely seems to help the drying process out a bit faster in my opinion. Perhaps if I bought a larger pump it would be much quicker but at the least its peace of mind.

Well then. I should probably go check my flesh light!

I always thought air drying did the trick... guess I should pick up an air pump, too

I agree with the air dry, as long as it is at an angle, I haven't had any issues lately. tampons are a slick idea though ;)

Thanks for the tampons idea.. never thought of that, I've always stuffed a cleaned FL or other with tissues.

Anyone ever try to use a stickheater? was wondering if that would do any good
