No Carly you're wrong. The cups are not from Russia. They are from Africa and United Kingdom.
OH. .. hold on..Whoops sorry. I thought you're talking about the other 4 cups.

:haha4: ...thanks Oz!

Also thanks to Chris, Virgin_Doll and hansdampf and Lena for your comments!

I must admit, I would like to find a good quality wig similar to that one and, yes, she does look very different in it! However, she has the kind of face that seems to suit any wig! If you remember, when she first arrived Ashaki and Vivette had a wig-trying-on session and it was hard to choose any one of them!

Three more ‘Challenge’ posts to go if I get time today! Life can get in the way sometimes!

Cheers, Hollows.

Vivette's new hair looks very nice Hollows!

Sorry to hear that the wig is a little fragile... maybe it can be her ''special occasion'' hairdo?

She looks great in it!

Thanks ZD!

Sorry I've been absent here for a while. family matters have meant limited time on TDF for doing catchups!

Anyway, it was a lovely sunny day earlier this month but it was only about 4C, a bit of frost still on the ground and a keen breeze!

However, Karrie thought it was a lovely day to fly a kite so we went down the garden and while I was unravelling the kite string Karrie had her own ideas.................

She'd jumped off a branch with the kite like a hang glider but did land in a bit of a heap giggling!

This was the photo we submitted into the Miniature Challenge!

Thanks Lone! Yeah, she did enjoy that!

The PCM Challenge is always a difficult one for us.......well, for me really! The girls have fun with it but it takes me blooming ages to do photo manipulation and I bow my hat to those that have mastered it here!

Ashaki has a lovely bum! It has always reminded me of a coco de mer, which is a huge nut found in the Seychelles! It is quite rare and protected so any that come on the market as 'antiques' can fetch quite a lot of money - especially if it is carved or polished.

Here are a few examples!

So, we started with this shot of Ashaki! I've protected her modesty

In the final shot we decided to protect her modesty by using one of The Seychelles stamps!
Coco-de-mer-stamp_0.jpg

I then chose this nut photo! Although not highly polished it had the right location so I didn't need to put in a background as well!

It was then just a matter of using GIMP and PhotoScape to combine them into the finished article!

That's pretty awesome H+F!!

Life has a bad habit of keeping us busy sometimes, well at least TDF isn't going anywhere :D

Never heard of coco de mer before, but there's really no mistaking it! They totally look like a woman's behind!

Great idea and it's very well done! Karrie also looks like she had tons of fun flying that kite! :multi:

Best wishes from the girls and we hope to see more soon!

Thanks ZD! Yeah, I've known about the coco de mer for some time but I've never seen one in real life as it were (apart from Ashaki's of course  ). You can see the size of them in the last photo in the batch there!

Right! I need to finish the last of the challenge entries here which was the GIF!

I got Ashaki and Vivette a new dress each for Christmas and they got me something to wear too!

They decided they wanted to try them on straight away and then it was my turn!!!!

Vivette's dress was a stretchy, velvety fabric that we both loved too!

Sadly, I didn't wash the dresses first - something I totally forgot for new dresses! Well, they were presents so I just didn't think!

As the GIF obviously took a lot of time and numerous photos I had to download them and see what they looked like in a GIF, the girls sat in their dresses for quite a long time! BIG mistake! When they finally took them off again poor Vivette had stains all over apart from where her knickers were! She looked like she'd been out in the sun too long!

I managed to get some Benzoyl Peroxide (recommended by Crazy Cajun and a few other members)! It's an acne cream and a bit expensive but well worth it! She's been over a week having treatment and the stains are nearly gone now so I'll leave it for a while and see if the very slight shadowy ones left will disappear naturally!

Needless to say, I've just received two full body stockings as we're not going through that again! I'll get some different shorter ones for dresses later!

Cheers, Hollows.

So glad to hear Vivette's stains are coming out. She has very light skin so I can imagine how upsetting it must have been when you discovered them. 8O

Cheers,
Fix.

Sorry to hear about the stains. I hope the rest will come off and that she'll be able to wear that beautiful  dress again after it's washed. But maybe not worth the risk. Also like Ashaki's knitted dress. Perfect for this time of year :D

Thanks Fix and Sofos! Yeah, I’m not sure I’ll ever trust that dress again even if it is washed! It’s quite stretchy which means it can fit almost any doll (or lady) but it was only a few pounds from Primark in the sale! I’m just going to my daughter’s so I may see if she’d like it then we won’t be tempted again! I’ll try to find something different for Vivette later!

Vivette and Ashaki had a rather excited reunion as Vivette had to be downstairs in the sitting room for over a week having her treatment! They got a bit carried away with the powdering and I got lots on me and the camera too so I’ll see if I can rescue some of the shots!

Cheers, Hollows.

These two ladies are pure delectable. _Love_ the contrast between Vivette's pale skin and Ashaki's darker tones.

Thanks B! It is quite extraordinary how well they get on! Ashaki has been sulking a bit while Vivette got her stain treatment as she was left upstairs while Vivette got some TLC!

I only took a couple of photos of this! The first was a day after I started so you can see it was quite a task! You can also see where her knickers protected some of her bum! You may just be able to see her arms and hands stained too!

The second is about a week into the treatment! Stains nearly gone but still needed a little more dosing in places!

After a good bath, Vivette was ready to go back up stairs! Photos to come maybe tomorrow (still have to process them!)!!

Cheers, Hollows.
