I understood a little how to shoot good pictures.

Post by ryuu2368ryuu »

I was not good at photos of dolls.
Like a TDF member, I could not make a real photo like a living person.
But I got used to practice.

A good doll photograph requires a set of wigs.
Long hair gets tangled right away.
TANGLE TEEZER introduced in TDF

I also bought TANGLE TEEZER.
TANGLE TEEZER is amazing.
Just slip the hair lightly and the tangle moves downwards, and at the end all entanglements are gone.
It is a very mysterious brush.
Before filming, I touched my hair with water and then carred it with TANGLE TEEZER.
I see a beautiful line as if the water flows.
People who like pictures, please use it.
The other pictures are here.

Nice ‘casting’ couch!

Yes, hair is important and sometimes it’s better to have two wigs the same! One you can use for everyday use and one for photoshoots! It is especially important, I think, to have a dedicated bed wig as as soon as the head hits the pillow tangles occur!

Real life situations are generally better than ‘bed’ photos as there is more detail there for the subject matter to blend in. Attention to detail is sometimes difficult though as you don’t notice them when you’re just focusing on the doll! Many is the time I’ve found fingers misplaced or hairs where they’re noticed! I’ve even had loo rolls etc in the photo that I didn’t notice when taking the picture!

However, even the best photographers here are still learning and I’m not even close to them! Practice helps and also entering the photo challenges each month hones your skills! There’s five categories each month so have a go! You can learn a lot from trying to fit a photo to a theme!

Cheers, Hollows.

I think they look great. It's all about the look and feeling they convey and yours are speaking. Good posing, getting the doll into a 'natural' position means a lot too.

I like this little doll. She does have a look about her, and eyes that stare through.

It's body posing, fingers, what to do with the hands - and feet - and eye posing that are the secrets.

I have a secret that I don't let on about much - my Dad was a porn addict and recently my wife and I have had to tidy up his house to some extent. He's collected calendars and one or two Mayfair magazines, all of which are a textbook guide to posing. PM me with your email address and I will send some sets of pics to you. Put your doll in the closest possible position to one of the live poses . . . and then vary the angle and see how she wants to change it.

This is what I did to create the set of Mayfair Porn photos of the OR156H http://www.uklovedollforums.co.uk/forum ... post127608
the SY165 review pics https://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtop ... 1#p1297171
and the Irontech 160 photos http://www.uklovedollforums.co.uk/forum ... post127704

Best wishes

Hollows + fentiman Thanks for the advice.
My favorite wigs are sold out. It is a nice way to buy two.
I also have a lot of mistakes in photography. I do not want to include things. I sometimes see the rubber of the wig.
I hope to participate in the challenge by practicing photos.

siliconelover & haremlover Thank you for advice.
I always suffer from sexy poses.
The angle of light is very difficult for pose of eyes
Where do you study sexy poses? Is a magazine good?

This is a super place to get to learn how to improve your photos. Hollywu and I look back on my first photos and laugh. I look so stiff and uptight. I think we both were like that when I got here and over time we've gotten to relax and have so much fun together!

I like what you are doing with your gal.

We both love how generous folks are here with advice on how to take photos and tips on hair, make up and clothing. I can't think of a better place online!

Thank you haremlover

I thought about posing a bit with your picture.
Pictures of good poses are difficult, but I tried practicing.

Brilliant! Well done! You'll get there.. .

Very lovely.

In those first photos she might have been posing her feet more elegantly but you've got the poses beautifully in these later shots.

Yeah, practice makes perfect! What I would say here is that it’s not always about what you can see that makes a good photo but about what’s also left to the imagination. She doesn’t have to be naked for instance! Drapes, shawls and scarves can be useful ‘props’ to tantalisingly hide certain ‘bits’ rather than clothes themselves. That way you can move them around to take a number of photos instead of having to put different clothes on each time!

Cheers, Hollows.

But naked is the hardest test of all. No harm in going for it if one wants to. Get it right naked, and then the drapes lift off.

haremlover Thanks to you.
More practice is necessary.
It will be harder for more than two people, but I will do my best.
Drapes, shawls and scarves can be useful ‘props’ to tantalisingly hide certain ‘bits’ rather than clothes themselves.
hollows + fentiman
That is a good idea.
I will also try it.
