:shocked!: Wow! Thanks for the information Peter, this has shocked and confused me a bit because it looks as though Mechtech have rekindled relationships with Mechadoll, otherwise why would Mechtech be selling them? Very interesting as well because the 'reply to Yves Becker's warning' about Mechtech has been taken off the Dream Doll website but the 'warning' still remains on the Mechadoll website. 8O I wonder whether we'll see that come down as well?
8O Mechtech are calling Mechadoll's "IncrediDoll's"!!! WTF! 8O 8O 8O I'm not sure how IncrediDoll on the other forum is going to take the news??

Oh I do wonder what's going on....

Cheers, Flash.

Hi Peter, thanks for the info. Now that´s a big surprise. It´s great that Andre will sell DS dolls. I guess the new name for the mechadolls is a marketing decision as mechadoll has developed not the best reputation considering delivery times. They may want to try a newstart. The portfolio looks amazing. I wish Andre all the best. So my order for the dreamdoll body 5 ginger doll probably will go to siliconedolls24.com. :)
Chris

Hi Peter & Chris,
I'm guessing maybe Andree can't call the dolls Mechadoll's for legal reasons so has opted to choose a different brand name to call them by. Because M.W.Shipping (Michael Wendt/Doll Park) I'm not sure but he may well own the Mechadoll brand name within Germany and even Europe and if that is the case any other distributor would be in trouble for using the 'Mechadoll' brand name. The doll business is fierce and the MD web has a very tangled past.
We all know Mechtech's past dealings with MD didn't go too well the last time around, I hope it fairs better this time for Andree!

Still it looks very good with 4 X different makes of dolls to choose from and very good for EU customers that were worried about the import and customs stuff.
I wish him all the best for a bright future.

Flash.

Hi Flash, your idea sounds very reasonable and I think IncrediDoll isn´t bad brand name. It put an incredibly big smile on Brigitte´s face.
I wish him all the best. He already knows of my plans to get a dream doll this year, but he doesn´t know yet that I am thinking about a DS 168 cm for next year to join the harem.

Hi Chris, have a look at these links, you'll be able to read them better than me, : http://www.markenrecht.justlaw.de/abmahnung/wendt-pressel-mechadoll.htm and http://www.it-recht-deutschland.de/?p=281268.
This explains why Mechtech have called MD's by a different name.
Quote:
The brand MechaDoll which for Michael Wendt is registered as a word mark under registration number 302010003791 at the German Patent and Trademark Office, enjoys protection in the class (es)

Also this explains why Mechtech cant use the word 'Leeloo' and have called the doll 'Liiluu II' .

He also holds other registered trademarks with the German Patent and Trademark Office

Quote:
leeloo word mark, registration number 302 009 030 158 in the class (es) Nice 10, 35), among others.

Hi Flash, you understood it perfectly. Andre is avoiding a legal battle by choosing the different names. The two new ladies from dreamdoll and dsdoll are still projects, but today I finally shot a few pics of Lucie, my new Phicen doll, Monique´s friend, and will upload them later today with some other pics. It´s getting crowded, and I love it,
