Simple rule of thumb: If it ain't approved here, assume its a scam and don't worry yourself beyond that.
Remember the old saying (that nobody unfortunately puts into practice): if its too good to be true (especially when it comes to spending money) it probably is.

Yes it is a lot of money. All the more reason to spend wisely. I'd much rather spend $1,500 and know I'll get what I'm paying for, than risking even $500 on a complete crap shoot.

If you want $500 doll with minimal risk, then aliexpress is much better option than a random website. Actually, $500 (shipped) for 140 cm doll is about the right price, and several vendors on aliexpress sell at this price level. It is simply that people on TDF who payed $2000 for 140cm TPE doll couple years ago didn't get used to this new reality yet.
Yes we discussed it a lot, but I can offer some new arguments. $500 TPE dolls is certainly a disruptive development, which would hurt many established businesses here at TDF (and this is probably the main reason why such sort of discussion is not welcome).
However, look at the bright side. The sales volume would increase many folds, because many people who used to say "How much this thing costs? Forget about it" would become contemplating "Why not"? The doll hobbyists would be much more numerous, and contribute to if not societal recognition, but stopping of the ridicule, at least.

I personaly think in the expensive times we live and the payments we all have to make each month that a 1000 euro would be a price more reachable for all the layers of the society
In addition to stealing Swan's great photos, they also don't seem to take PayPal.. make of that what you will, but I don't trust sites which don't take PayPal.
Regarding Paypal, there is a thread that claims Paypal has had too many charge backs on sex/love dolls so a lot of vendors are no longer acepting Paypal.
