Re: Question regarding "fake dolls"
You can get skin tones that don't resemble a human..
(even when it is supposed to look like one)
poor joints, skeletal structures that are weak, limbs that don't move
correctly (or at all) and as optical mentioned, unknown chemical
makeup, poor trimming and smoothing, wigs that you wouldn't pay
$1 for at the Halloween store, (same for the clothing) strong and
unusual aromas, returned/refurbished units sold as new
(eww, eww, EWWWW!!!)
and I mean that. EWWW!
There's all sorts of things that can go wrong. And they're more likely
to happen with an unknown vendor, especially when you don't have
much recourse.

Lol okay that totally made me laugh, and I see what you mean, there was a doll I had my eyes on, but I can only find her thru eBay, which according to here would be considered fake, but I couldn't find her elsewhere, and it was love at first sight, I mean I literally keep coming back to that page...Not sure if it's worth the risk, she costs 690$, seller is sasinternationalbv, probably spelled that name wrong.Mark Spencer wrote:You can end up with a body that looks nothing like what you imagined..

When someone mentions a $690 doll, my mind immediately starts playing Monty PythonLeashB0mb69 wrote: Lol okay that totally made me laugh, and I see what you mean, there was a doll I had my eyes on, but I can only find her thru eBay, which according to here would be considered fake, but I couldn't find her elsewhere, and it was love at first sight, I mean I literally keep coming back to that page...Not sure if it's worth the risk, she costs 690$, seller is sasinternationalbv, probably spelled that name wrong.
RUN AWAY!!!! RUN AWAY!!!!!
If someone offered you a brand new $36.000 Ford Pickup, loaded..
for only $10k, wouldn't you expect it to be missing a few things?
Like .. an engine? Axles? Transmission?
Check with some of the approved vendors here . They can give you a better
idea what might go wrong, or who the other vendor is and if they're trustworthy.
Granted, the resellers don't work for free, but they're not gouging anyone, either.
They are your lifeline when it comes to buying from overseas. You could get
screwed and the seller doesn't care. What are you going to do?
But the vendors have ongoing relationships with the manufacturers. If the manufacturers
tick off the vendor, they can kiss a WHOLE LOT of business goodbye!
(but really, the legit manufacturers wouldn't do that anyway)

Re: Question regarding "fake dolls"
You can buy feedback on fiverr..LeashB0mb69 wrote:Lol, you're funny , you do have good points, honestly tho, 690$ is still a lot of money for a doll in my opinion (I know they can go up to 4000$ tho), and the description does say "the items you receive look exactly like what you see in the pictures" and does offer a 30 day return.. But when I look at their feedback I see some people say stuff similar such as "highly recommended A++", which sounds like a bot type of feedback lol. Have you had experience before with getting something considered fake ? And were you able to make a return for false advertising?
I don't think you'd have much luck with a case like that. Pursuing it legally
would be too costly (you'd have to go there) and when they're cranking out
knockoffs all day long, a few customers here or there don't matter much.
And if you trash them with feedback, they can re-open under another name.

Instead, post us a picture of this elusive doll or a link of the Ebay page. You'll be surprised how many "elusive doll gurus" we have on this site.

Re: Question regarding "fake dolls"
Firstly $699 is too cheap for both TPE and Silicone for anything of reasonable quality.
Secondly they say it's a medical solid silicone doll. If it's silicone, which I doubt, it's way too cheap.
They say the brand is Racyme. There has been mention of Racyme dolls, allegedly TPE not silicone, here on the forum and it's mostly not good.
If you are happy with a poor quality doll at a very cheap price then this is the baby for you. That's if you receive what you order. It's also alleged they use pictures of WM dolls to advertise these Racyme dolls.
If not, think carefully before proceeding.

Re: Question regarding "fake dolls"
Thanks so much for your input, ill definitely think about it because your only suspicion seemed like a low price, which is honestly my only suspicious too, but I did read from someone that it is a hit or miss with buying from eBay, and I did have a pm interaction with them and doesn't seem too skeptical, if I do decide to order one, do you guys want me to post a picture for updates ? And when you guys say tag, do you mean to just write my name on a piece of paper next to my item ?Mondoon wrote:OK let's look at the ad.
