Preview- soon videos like this with dolls

Post by Bim1 »

This is an animation I did in April.
It is music video for a tune I wrote for a CD that I recorded a few years ago.

Wouldn't it be nice to see our dolls move like this?

That is one hot virtual babe. For some reason the music was distorted.
Somehow, it seems quite remote to have a robo-babe doing cartwheels in my lifetime. While possible, probably not likely.
If you\'re letting it all get to you, you\'re probably taking it too seriously

Thanks Flook :)
If you like you can click the link at my signiture for a High def view and sound.
I am only going to make CGI 3d animations like this with our dolls.
I agree with you in regards to robotics,
I think that the virst real applications to dolls will be the simplest.
(voice recognition with proper responses?)
Perhaps sensors that trigger a physical response, (imagine). :D

Hi JM :multi:

Yes :!: If you saw the Video with the girl singing from the link at my signiture,
that voice was achieved by useing a program called vocaloid.
I put in the notes, write in the words, and out comes the voice :)
There is a free program that does the same and you can use these on your videos as well.

Here is the Youtube version Szalinski. Very cool video Bim. I first saw it at Coverdoll. The music is nice. Jazz is a nice touch and I think it works perfectly with the video that you made. She is a hot V-Girl too.

Great video, did you make the figure and do the animation in Poser or did you use other software?

As far as movement, I just want a doll that breathes, I think that would be the coolest thing in the world.

I know Matt M. was working on one some time ago, and that he had a working prototype that was looking awesome.

I'm surprised the breathing Realdoll isn't on the market right now.

B Zila
Yes I used Poser to make the animation, and Vegas movie studio for video editing.
Thanks Janesays :D
and Thank you too Midiman :D

I'd be satisfied with warmth in the right areas. And AlexKnight gave me a program that lets me see the original just fine now. :) :) :)

Bim1.....I've watched your videos several times now, and am fascinated with the "Vocaloid" program you mention. Are there also a variety of different voices to choose from? How difficult would it be to feed a prerecorded conversation into a Doll, and what devices would be necessary to accomplish this? What a great way to breath a little more life into the Dolls personality! I've heard one other program that speaks back to you through the computer, but not with the "Cute" little voice you've come up with. I believe I've mentioned this before, but I like the way she occasionally glances to her left and right as though she's a little nervous being on stage. Very nice work indeed!!
