I believe Kayla is not a normal Realdoll. Shes a WickedRealdoll.
You can see and order her using the link below.

Wow, great video

Can my Molly(2010 RD1) also tilt her head sideways? 8O She always look at me with her head leaning a little bit, I have tried to tilt it up but it feels like there is no joint that way. I thought that something was wrong in her neck, maybe it is  I have not tried with much force

Someone who know?

Hi Guys,

With all dolls there can be variations. My advice is never to force any part of a doll if it feels like there's any resistance. If in doubt, then ask the manufacturer. Abyss have a great after sales and will always reply to any questions you may have :)

Ace video, thanks Alex. I thought her movements looked remarkably good and easy to do. And she looks stunning. :D

Thanks for that video as well Aly.

I agree with Kharn, he's hit the nail on the head. All dolls are going to be a tad different (in every way) even if the same make and body/face combination.

Like AlyDolly said, Kayla is a Wicked Realdoll, the Kaylani Lei model, but from what I understand, the RD2 line will now have the same skeleton as the Wicked Dolls.

My RD1 can't tilt her head sideways either, at least not the normal way... the only way for me to do that, is to tilt her head backwards as far as it will go, then turn her head so it faces sideways a little, then tilt her head back in the normal position and turn it to the front. That way, the tilting up and down joint will be rotated a bit, and the head is slightly bent sideways. Like Melissa's picture in my avatar, or this one:

Maybe that's the case with your doll as well...when you tilt her head back, does it go straight back, or does it go back in an angle?

I can emphasize on this as well, don't force the joints, because they could very well not be there, and you risk breaking something.
The manufacturers make constant changes to the skeletons, so things can change.

Also, the stiffness in the joints will be different from doll to doll, that's what happens when you buy a handmade product, there will be variations.

Thanks Alex! Then something is a little wrong in her neck but it does't matter. Molly is actually cute with her head leaning, looking at me like a little puppy
But if I will fix it its best to contact Abyss about it. :)

Nightingale, I edited my post, does your doll's head look like Melissa's?

Thanks Alex! Your explanation worked! Mollys head actually was less tilted than Melissa's on that photo, but it tilted back in a smal angle that could be adjusted with her head tilted backward. Now her head is straight. I actually never thought about to try that! :D

Molly and I am very happy right now

Good video which really shows the range of motion very well. This should be very helpful even for people who might be interested in one of the older RealDolls.

I even made her more pretty today... I decided to do an eye swap, and exchanged Kayla's factory eyes with the Guy Eyes Jenna had, she looks so much nicer now :D

Image

Exchanging the eyes was remarkably easy to do, just push the silicone from the back of the socket, and the eyes open wide enough to pop the eyeball in. When I removed Kayla's eyes, I found out, they're not completely round, they are open at the back. That explained why I sometimes had trouble moving her eyes. The Guy eyes are completely round, and they move a lot better :D :D

Kayla looks very poseable, and realistic. those and the lightest wait possible. are more important too me than the sex. My mid range dolls satisfy me for sex. My main interest in Hi end dolls is for posing with my little British car in car shows. I also have to be able to get her in and out of the car with out too much trouble. Looking at your video, It looks like Kaylana wicked doll, or maybe lupe, might fit the bill quite well.
