What is it w/t UK tabloid and dolls?
Must really sell some papers for them!

Abyss would have to pay $5K to get that type of advertisement.

Yeah that's what I was thinking as well. In fact, I've lost count of how many articles they have done on dolls and sex bots.
They seem to be really fascinated with the subject.

YES, I think that would be prudent in light of the conjured up mass hysteria about anything under the sun. Very prudent, and do it soon! Nothing good will come of these articles directly targeting this site.

I would also put up a verification process to keep these scumbag "journalist" sensationalists off the site.
At very least, a 50 post minimum/over 7 days to see any pictures or something of the like to make it more difficult on talking heads.

or maybe the exposure will just create or bring in more doll lovers? If we aren't doing anything wrong, why should we cut ourselves off and hide on the net? Sure, don't take your doll to Pizza Hut or the bar, I get that.

They are really looking for negative shit for the readers to nail our doll lovers to the pillory.

The Sun...... And ther sex robots......: they don't even Now the difference between a doll and a robot. :haha4:

And yes it is time to make the forum a bit more closed because this is not a good way to promote our lifestyle in a positive way if those media rats only pick out the sensitive points and write about it.

Just my toughts........

Relax, guys, I think we're going to be fine. In fact, I'd like to thank the Sun tabloid for the free advertising (promotion) of TDF!

Look, TDF has been online since 2001, and tabloids will always be tabloids. The truth and facts are over here, with US. Curious people will seek us out, behold the realm of dolls for themselves... and perhaps even join, just like some of you already have.

Agreed, or certainly make the following members only/5 post rule, if they aren't:
- Buy/Sell forum
- Eye Candy etc. (where a lot of the photos are taken from)
- Photo Contests (they've reported on this before!)
- Any other boards that could be considered sensitive for members

By the way, if anyone's had their photos published online, you're within your rights to invoice The S*n for use of the photo (this was de rigeur on another forum I used with similar problems). £30-£50 a pop is reasonable, with a threat to sue for theft if they don't pay up. They always do.

P.S. I detest The S*n, lowest of the low - can't elaborate without breaking forum rules, but do a hunt on the search engine of your choice.

EDIT: Changed some of the sub-forums in the list as they already are members only.
