Very interesting indeed!
They are getting there! Slow but steady.
I doubt we will see anything advanced anytime soon though and when we do, it will still be out of reach for most of us due to the price tag

In December, academics convened at Goldsmiths University London for the 2nd Congress on Love and Sex with Robots. The conference discussed themes such as data, law and teledildonics, with a strong focus on ethics. Well worth reading.

Personally, I love the idea of an android "love doll," however, if and when the day comes (more so when than if), for me if I'm able to afford one, I'd like to think that my fully AI doll would be more a companion to me in a lot of ways than a simple animatronic sex doll. Just thinking about all the possibilities kinda has me all giddy. x3
