Sexbots are coming - sex robots on Channel 4 repeat 11 Feb

Post by haremlover »

I understand that the Channel 4 documentary about Sexbots - The Sexbots are Coming filmed by Nick Sweeney is to be repeated on Channel 4 on 11th February.

Of press commentators only Janet Street Porter took a rational view of the documentary in The Independent http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/the ... 87076.html giving mature and considered opinion.

Most of the commentators are clearly women without an understanding of men, or men who are too young to understand the tortures of being male.

My Chloé took part in the programme
Image
and few commentators took much notice of her overshadowed by the shock-horror of the main protagonist of the film. Almost the only comment relating to her contribution was in the upright and prissy Torygraph in which Jasper Rees, the equivalent of Mr Shocked of Tunbridge Wells, writes http://www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/2017/11/3 ... rld-adult/ :

This repeat of the programme will enable viewers to examine just how accurate the Daily Telegraph's reporting is, and as to whether I really did say that.

"Keeps my eye from roving" is rather a cerebral statement rather a long way from the act of actual adultery. Jasper Rees' comprehension of English language, if not of psychology, leave a little to be desired.

Such puerile judgments on the lives of others really don't acknowledge realities and are propagated by people who simply haven't lived.

I've been having to help my Dad recently. He's of the age where that fall becomes fairly catastrophic and any reporters or commentators who don't know about such things should be consulting their elders for opinions.

Among my Dad's terrible disorder in which my wife and I have had to find rather important things to help with his long term care, I found a piece of paper which was telling.

Upon my Dad's 80th birthday he gave a couple of parties in which the main entertainment was him telling his life story. In being long winded, he didn't get beyond the joys of his spell in National Service, an "encounter" under a bridge in Belgium in detail graphic enough to shock all ladies present . . . and the story of his life stopped then in 1953.

For many, sex before marriage is more exciting than that which becomes the norm within family life. My Godson's brother in law is being neglected by his wife so focused on the new baby and sleeping with the baby that there's real concern. Many marriages break down during pregnancy or shortly after childbirth where the poor male is berated for looking elsewhere for sex.

A bloke currently working for me suffered on account of divorce, his father being unable to cope with the pressures of family life with four children.

These things happen, and the male has a prostrate gland to satisfy, lack of exercise of which leads to cancer. The male has things that females can have little understanding for. There are many marriages where wives focus on family and sex, crucial for the getting of the family, becomes of secondary or no concern and where sex of any form is merely a matter of toleration rather than any sort of particular enjoyment. That sort of sex isn't exactly satisfying for the male either.

Among my Dad's papers I found a sheet of sorrows. He documented that he hadn't had sex since the early 1980s. Can any of the reporters expressing shock horror about dolls, and sex robots, understand the tortures of a man who has been deprived of sex for three and a half decades?

I'd guess that most of the journalists writing hypocritical stories about dolls and sexbots haven't been alive for as long as my Dad has been deprived of sex.

My Dad's outlet was porn videos on DVD (which I'll be selling in due course if anyone's interested) but from the advertising catalogue pictures you can't persuade me that all the women starring in them particularly enjoyed what was happening to them.

When my Mum died 15 years ago it sent my Dad into turmoils which were difficult to live with, and he was putty in the hands of any unscruplulous woman who might smile at him. He was taken for a ride by a bereavement counsellor, who phoned me up and asked me "what do I have to do to divert the attentions of your Dad, I don't love him" - and then did the opposite. His finances between then and now are some £100s of thousands short with no clue where they went. Then he met a woman from Uzbekistan, she in her 40s, who sat on his lap with her headlights in front of his nose and said to him "would you like to think of marrying me?". She groomed him over the telephone, took him for a ride for £20,000 and he was on the point of selling shares to give her more.

Luckily, after logic from my wife and one of my sons failed, Chloé's story www.coverdoll.com/drupal/node/2072 awoke him to his situation.

How lucky our generation are to have dolls, and the fun of sexbots, perhaps not for sex, but particularly widowers, companionship.

The shallow media reporters hadn't realised that a doll like Chloé
Image
is rather for more than they bargain for.

Escapades with a DS Doll robotic head

will be something particularly to look forward to.

So in that light hopefully we might see more mature responses to the Channel 4 repeat of The Sexbots are Coming. Sex Robots probably might not necessarily be exclusively for sex . . .

Best wishes

Males were meant for sex...or else you get blue balls!
Majority of men that go see sex workers or attend gentlemen's clubs are men.
Especially married men.

We have a natural urge to see pretty women. #FACTS

Good post as usual, Harem. Will try and catch the repeat if only to see your Chloé.

It's quite sad that the media only play on the point that they're used for sex. But I guess sex=ratings. As we know, dolls are so much more than that to a lot of us. But if they reported on that, it'd use the slant of "ooh look at this sad little man who has no friends so needs imaginary ones!", or some crap.

My opinions of Ms Street-Porter have gone up though, must be said.

I've had to satisfy the prostate for a different health problem, and let me tell you, eventually doing it by hand gets so boring that after a while it doesn't even work.
