I just ordered my first doll

Today, after weeks of lurking around here and browsing the different vendors, I ordered my first doll from Joy.

In case anyone's interested, I'm getting the WM 163C with face #88, and two sisters who will have no bodies for the time being, faces #36 and #106.

It was a tough choice between this and the 157B, but I think the 157 would have been slightly too scrawny for my tastes, this one looks to be just right.

I must say it was a real pleasure doing business with Joy. I sent her a massive list of questions earlier, and she got back to me not 15 minutes later with all the information I needed.

And now the waiting begins, I should have ordered this a month ago.

I think you'll be very pleased with your doll! My Hadleigh is also a WM 163cm C-cup and that body is a beauty to behold, indeed. If you need her measurements for clothing, here's a table that I ginned up using the information from RLSD's page for the WM163C.

This morning I awoke to an email from Joy with factory photo's of my girl. I am including some of them showing the different heads.

I am incredibly pleased with the results, I was quite nervous about it after ordering, but they have done an amazing job.

Now that I have seen the photo's, the waiting is even more difficult. I feel like a little kid, waiting for Christmas Day.

I had to google her, but I can see the resemblance.

They are probably not going to look like this for very long though, I ordered extra eyes and wigs to mess around with.

I would like to do the makeup eventually as well, but I have no idea what I'm doing on that front, so I'll have to watch some tutorials first.

I received my tracking code today!

FedEx has tentatively scheduled her delivery for the 5th of September, next week Wednesday.

I can't wait!

She is here! Her box had been opened by customs on the way, but thankfully she arrived clean and undamaged.

I'll get some pictures going once I figure out how to pose her without breaking my back.

Here is a quick one I took in a simple pose.

I need to get used to the weight and figure out how her skeleton works before I try any complicated poses, but this will do for now.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few pics of her full body standing straight up with no particular pose, if you don't mind? I'm interested to know how the body looks in comparison to other dolls, in particular her ass. Having just ordered one yourself and dealt with the issues of deciding on which one to pick, I'm sure you know what I mean when I say that the manufacturers make it difficult to compare them in their lack of comparable pictures

I just ordered an IronTech 155 about a week ago myself... the wait is unbearable indeed
