Hi, just bought a doll

Post by Rde219 »

Hello everyone, I just bought a second doll,

168 model from JY

and I believe Beautiful Dolls was the vendor who processed my order.

Just received the doll.

I gotta say the quality exceeded my expectation. I don't regret buying from JY and 168 model and

one of the thing was that she doesn't smell much at all although I seen some posts years ago warning of TPE smell

that you ventilate regularly to rid of the odor after the arrival.

Maybe the tpe blend improved over time and past couple of years.

Anyways I was thinking to purchase a tpe glue for the doll,
and does anyone know a recommended tpe glue that works on all tpe blends?

or do I need different glue types for different tpe manufacturer?

TPE glue is actually a solvent. It’s not a “glue“ at all.
Very tricky to work with. It will work with all TPE blends.
I recommend extensive research on repair before attempting.
If done improperly, it can melt/ruin your doll.

It seems I have to contribute to the forum before being able to upload photos.

Check out Mishka's videos on you tube before spending money on "tpe glue". I just searched Mishka TPE and it came right up.
