"The only thing is that you can go cheap here because the first thing they cut back on is the zipper and you don't want that breaking on you. Especially in your case since you cannot see the zipper, if it gets stuck on you, it might be difficult to free it. Snaps or buttons might be better, but most dresses and skirts use zippers. Many open back halters have an elastic waistband and clasps for the part that goes around the neck or there might even be a tie that goes around the neck...even better."

Lol, I have so many zippered items made in China that broke on me- and not just doll clothes...my own shit as well!

For Eryka and myself, I really go between two positions, that is standing from behind while her torso is on the bed, or turned around face up with her legs going passed my shoulders. Here I have to prop her butt up on a pillow. But so far, those are really the only two that worked out for me.

Do you know of any good laying down positions for both? I tried her on top of me once and sadly, that is how her left elbow joint became loose.

I find lazy doggy works really good with Cammy, that's the one where you're laying on your side and entering from behind. Side mish works too but you'll stress her leg and arm a bit so not ideal. For regular mish, yeah, the legs over shoulders with a pillow underneath is the best. If you press down on her belly during sex she raises up her lower half...Feels a bit awkward to be doing that cause you'd likely not do that to a live person, but it does improve the angle alot when you want her to lift her palvis.

First one I usually call a spooning position, but I guess how it is described does vary from region to region. At any rate, that one I have not tried. I found in bed missionary is very difficult due to the angle, but standing missionary is fine. But that position and standing doggy were pretty much the only two I tried with me standing and her laying down. One other position I tried is seated with her sitting on me, but at a back angle. It works OK and it is fine with lighter dolls, but I doubt most people would be able to do it with a TPE or Silicone doll, they are just too heavy.

I tried the sitting one with Riza...almost broke the chair rofl. Generally I find mish with the Dagmar doll just not very comfortable. The angle's weird, and the outer rim of the pubic area is a bit hard lol.

My wife and I did the chair thing for real and WE DID break the chair!

Sadly, today is my last day alone and I just finished taking some more pictures of Eryka. I am having lunch now and then afterwards, sadly, I have to put her back in the box. My family returns tomorrow and there is no time to put her away then and there is no time in the morning as I have to go to work. So I have to put her away now. I am probably going to park the porpoise with her one more time though and that will be it. It was a fun few days as I had her out of the box from Thursday night until now (Sunday afternoon). I had a few new outfits for her and I will post them up on Eryka's thread.

With the new insert that I have, which is a Venus Clone, the part that is outside is not as flush and it protrudes a bit. This does make doggy style a bit better as nearly an inch and a half more is outside. It is nicely rounded and given the angle at pointing straight down it isn't noticeable on her clothing either. However, if she bends over or wears leotards she has an extreme case of camel-toe. Not very natural looking, but it doesn't look too bad (at least to me). Lol yeah, unfortunately with these fabric dolls, the shape of the pubic regions will take a hit in realism. How's the venus clone compare to the original insert that came with the doll?

Sadly, today while posing Cammy, her right hip/thigh joint decided to throw in the towel. I wasn't even forcing her leg to do anything extreme- I just moved her right leg up and I heard a cracking sound, and now, just like her left leg, the right leg will no longer hold a pose.
I guess Cammy from this point forward will mostly be laying down or sitting- no standing will be possible at all.
I'm heading out to have a drink to drown out my disappointment at her construction. She's now sitting on the sofa with Jewel getting her own bit of comforting.

Oh, it is BY FAR better. Way easier on the pushing! Also the TPE is a much better quality than the insert that came with the doll. I have noticed that only after two months of use, the insert that came with the doll started to show wear already. The Venus Clone still looks new! Some of the nubs on the inside did 'peel off', but for the most part, I can't feel those anyway.

Oh no! It is one bout of bad news after another with these Happy Dolls! That is huge bummer! So her left leg is like this too? What about the arms? YOu had an issue with them too if I recall.

That is awful! I am now worrying if that is where Eryka will end up heading. What is worse is that I have invested quite a bit in terms of clothing for Eryka. Some are nice dresses that look the best when she is standing up. Thankfully I have not had any leg problems as of yet. She was fine for the weekend that I had her out. No additional problems. I only bent her knees twice to do some sitting shots and then to put her back in the box.

VERY sorry to hear that. I am wondering if someone down the road would come up with an idea to come up with a permanent repair for the joints on that doll. I saw the construction in a 'DIY fix-it' thread here and it really isn't a good system. The shoulder joint has a metal U-shaped part that performs the arm rotation. The upper arm is a section of PVC pipe and the end is flattened down onto a small section of metal with a hole in it. So the flattened section of tubing is acting like a plastic washer and a bolt is put through the entire assembly. The arm performs the in-out movement. The pictures show that the flattened part of the plastic broke off from the rest of the PVC section. The fix was just to cut the broken end flat, remove the broken part from the joint and take out the metal piece inside the pipe. The newly trimmed end is heated up and pounded flat with a rubber hammer. The metal with the hole in it is inserted into the flattened part, a hole is drilled in the PVC pipe and then it is bolted back into the joint.

While that is a fix, to me it is not a good one. It is the same thing as when it left the factory and that joint will fail again. Another bad thing is now that arm is a couple inches shorter than the other one. I would think that to get some longevity out of this repair, it probably would be wise to not tighten the bolt so hard. Just tighten it enough so the arm will hold a pose. I think that because of the way it is designed, having the joints super tight like when you first get the doll is too much and it just wears out the joints fast with every position you put the doll in. I think it would be best if a joint design was copied from a well built doll and somehow affix the PVC pipes to these joints. At least then the repair will be fairly permanent.

I think with me, if her legs started to become an issue. I think I might have a chat with Yuri from Textile Dolls. If he could make a body around the silicone head that Happy Dolls has.

Yep her left arm is the same, now quite floppy but can't stay up. Right now only right arm and neck are still holding tight. I bet you that's what happened, like you mentioned with the PVC breaking, I bet if we were to open her up we'd find the PVC near the hip joints broken or split off.
This sadly is very familiar to an action figure collector like myself lol, but she can't be superglued back together like an action figure- and she costs alot more too!
Luckily alot of her clothes fit Stephanie as well, so clothewise it's not a total loss.
