Don't Dismiss A Doll Named Alissa (DS163+)

This is my 163cm+ DS Doll. :D Her name is Alissa (pronounced A-lis-sa). I got her back in 2015.
Image
This is the first doll I really wanted because everything about her just does it for me. Image I loved the promotional pictures of her and all the pictures from other "Alisa" head owners. I wouldn't change a thing from the day I sent for her. Love her blue eyes and the brown wig she came with.
She had a bad accident on her way to me and broke both of her feet. Which was terrible. I was able to get the courage and know-how to fix her with the help from John at DS and the kind people of this forum. Thanks! :D It felt like I was getting a new doll all over again.
She hopes to be a teacher one day.
She does not pose for pictures very often but this is her cleaning up around the house. After scrubbing the walls she put a sponge under her shoe and slid across the floor. Somehow she kept her balance. She is a loose jointed doll.

Thank you! :D

She looks very cute, and nice work on the clean up animation. Good luck to you in the photo contest!

She is beautiful. Alissa deseverves a lot more attention than she gets. Thank you for sharing.

"Don't dis Alissa!"

Incredible work on the animation. That must have taken a long time to do, but it looks fantastic. It must bring her to life in your own eyes, too, to see her move in the video.

OK, that has to be the cutest butt-wiggle ever! She's definitely too attractive to dismiss.
I'm glad you were able to get her fixed up so well that she could pose for those shots. How did you manage that with her loose joints?

Hi TheIQF++,
Your 163plus is gorgeous!!
What a fantastic figure!

I'll bet she is easier to handle than a similar sized doll due to the DS doll construction!

cheers,
Up2

This is what you can not do with a torso CF

Thank you! :D Believe me, Alissa and I will never forget how specialist doctor samara helped her walk again!

In case I didn't make it clear, I don't blame DS for her damage. She was packed very well but she was kept in the wrong position for too long by the shipping company. DS gave me the repair parts to fix her. I'm glad it worked out in the end. I really like this model. She is a work of art.

I like how the DS eyes catch the light...
This face captures a mood I adore in a girl. :)
See this picture form DS that I kept staring at until I bought her... :evidence:

That's very good! I wanted to make a little rhyme in the topic title so you could hear how to say her name. I couldn't find any suitable words that rhyme with Alissa. There's abscissa in mathematics but like nothing else with 3 syllables.

Thank you! This gif took a very long time and a lot of editing. Please note that this loose jointed doll from 2015 cannot stand at all. She can't even lean against something. I wouldn't put any weight on her feet. She had help in every frame!
I found that I really like working with a loose jointed doll for these gifs. She is so easy to move and twist without disturbing the scene. To me she feels very light compared to my other dolls.
:D

This technique is marvelous despite using a loose joint. The effort, the techniques, all and all this is a magnificent well done animation technique. With editing in hand proves CGI stays superiority for dollamation.

Ha! Well played, sir! But I already have some fun stop-motion animations I'd like to try with a busty torso, like having her wear a tight sports team shirt while wearing a game. There's a nailbiter of a play, she's bouncing up and down in a chair with excitement, boobs jiggling like mad, and then spills her beer. Another is of her sitting on a washing machine, waiting for the clothes to be done, and again, the jiggling is insane. Finally her button-up shirt pops open from the bounciness and she realizes all the rest of her clothing is in the washer. The final shot is her wearing a still-wet top that she's fished out of the washer and she says, "I need a bigger wardrobe."

Not that I've daydreamed about this kind of thing.

You need to do some kind of imaginary "Hellboy 3" movie trailer with all your gals, Anung!

Wonderful - I definitely have a soft spot for the DS163+.

Just wondering - you got her back in 2015 .. why feature her now?
(meaning - is there a special reason? Or just "because"?)

Awesome work on that animation, that had to have taken some serious time to put together.
