This doll is very soft, probably softer than any of my other ones, almost squishy feeling. The skeleton makes it feel like there really are bones inside when you squeeze the arms or legs. That's pretty cool. I actually prefer my dolls to be less soft, so that they are more durable.

She felt really tacky at first. Once I got her powdered up though, she was silky smooth. Very nice to the touch, smoother than any doll I've had yet.

The skeleton joints move smoothly, however it feels like a doll for more experienced doll owners. Maybe I'm just nervous due to it being plastic. I still wish there was an option to upgrade to metal.

Her sculpt is nice. There are so many details, from silicone sculpted ankles, creases in hands and feet, divots in the backs of the leg knee area, stuff like that.

Rather than attempt to describe these things, here are some photos of details:

There actually are some lines on the bottoms of her feet, my phone couldn't pick up the details.

Hands are detailed, but floppy. At least I don't need to worry about breaking wires or pokes.

The finger tips are painted, they are not this dark - I screwed up this picture.

I am wondering if there is some damage to the leg shown on the right as it seems to bow more than the other one. Although the skeleton feels fine, maybe the silicone just needs to rest from that horrid trip.

Me attempting to lean how to move and pose her, I feel like this will take a while for sure. (No directions came with her.)

I tend to get big tummy creases from the back joint as that's something new for me.

I found John's original box photos. Looks so much better than the DHL version.

Thanks, me too. I'm really happy to have a mini with a posable, non wire skeleton. Been hoping for one for a while.

Hey man! Enjoy her. Just glad nothing bad happened to her. I might get one now seeing she got no problems.
I like Minis too. Not only she's small but also much fit my cabinets tops xD I have lots of BJDs so she's definitely an evolution or devolution to my lifesizes as she's balance 100cm.

Hoping to see her in clothes. If you have clothing questions, feel free to ask the community and me xD

Most of my mini clothes are for my Vigin Rose Doll, and she's a bit shorter. Will have to figure out something.

So glad she wasn't damaged! I had two first gen arrive broken - the original and the replacement John sent!

The articulation is brilliant in these dolls but be careful moving the joints to their limits, especially with that shot of her legs spread wide! That's where mine broke (amongst other parts)! The joints of mine also loosened up a lot after a while in some places because DS didn't use lock nuts, so I would advise treating her carefully!

Good luck, Hollows.

Edit:- clothes are generally around five year old ones! I picked many out from charity shops!

Yup - she does seem to be delicate for sure. This happened with a simple photoshoot this morning, and I didn't even extend her arm all the way.

Seems that manufacturers are giving into peoples wishes for extra-soft dolls. I lean more towards durability and don't mind "firmer" silicone. I'd rather a doll last 10 years than be soft, especially with how expensive they can be.

That looks like a flaw that's in the joint of the moulding that's opened up rather than anything you've done! Catching hands and feet on something is quite common for damage when carrying them around and little cuts can occur for no reason at all! For larger cuts you would normally use SilPoxy but that's quite expensive for such a small cut so you may be better to use Permatex 81730 which is quite a lot cheaper! Send samara78 a photo of it in a pm and she may be able to advise better!

Cheers, Hollows.

She is very nice on those 2 last photos!
Reading your thread makes me contact John for a mini, I ask if permanent freckles and his answer is positive!
But for a red wig, I have to find by myself.
