pictures, pictures, pictures of an elf....

Well we did some playing around taking some pics... my camera isn't very good to start, and the lightning was pretty poor so... sorry in advance for the quality, I tried to retouch them in gimp, but I'm not very good at this stuff.... so it didn't work. My wife took all the pics, I wont take credit for that, I was just being the brute force holding and moving the doll everywhere. I'll try again sometime with plenty of daylight, I know that will make a difference. There is a picture if anybody is curious, the doll's hand against my wife's. The size is pretty similar, considering my wife its taller than the doll.... yeah... she does have small hands. Considering how bad my wife was against getting the doll in the beginning this is pretty nice. She basically got a big barbie doll to play and dress around...

The pictures look pretty good to me, I'm sure with a bit of time and experience you'll do even better though. She does look really cute, I like the fact that she has an actual green hooded elf outfit too!

The fact that your wife has been able to enjoy having her around is cool, they should advertise them like that; as big dress-up dolls for women. I think that'd increase sales by about 1 or 2 units a decade...

I just need a better camera.... the one I have right now is pretty crappy, I think its gonna die soon... but getting the doll kinda topped my cc so I gotta wait... I think my wife has a love/hate relationship with the doll, but on the positive note, she did let me got her, which I'm extremely thankful for.

I think more guys would be able to get their wife's let them buy one if they advertise them as dress up dolls also... as you said... about 1 to 2 units a decade.... maybe...

she is so beautiful and i love the outfits. i found that pretty funny about your wife, but dressing up a doll can be pretty damn fun. looking forward to everything about this lovely lady as im contemplating about getting one myself

Disclaimer from the wife; more crazy than cool, but thanks. He has another, but it's fabric and very anime like. I was only against the silicone because they're SO damn realistic... but this one reminded me of our BJDs and was the only one that I didn't think I'd plot against in the end.

^^^ (wife here) He pouted like a pregnant lady! Not kidding... he just pouted and avoided talking to me for a couple of days, and it was depressing me, so I told him that he could get one IF he found one that had a more anime like face (we're both otakus and anime girls never bothered me). I just hate the hyper realistic looking ones. They make me feel like whatever he'd choose is actually his "perfect type" and it made me feel jealous (and honestly somewhat hurt) because none of the ones he was looking at looked remotely like me and I didn't want anything in this house that was going to make me feel resentful. It's not like there's much to be understanding of in the end though. He originally got one after I went on a business trip abroad and it drove his nuts... nuts..... We have a very good intimate life, so it's not like they are really used for that purpose regularly except when I've suggested it to add spice. Other than feeling like the hyper realistic ones are trespassing on my territory, I've no problem with the concept in general.

In the end, he showed me 3 that he was looking at, and I picked the elf and eye color. It's cute like a BJD, but with elf ears and purple eyes, it's unrealistic enough that I was ok with it. Besides, I'm totally using this to my advantage, and when he's being a grump or something, I just say "elf" he perks up (or gives me an extra hug, or stops complaining, etc)
