What makes EVO EVO?

Post by MannyCan »

Is there any consolidated list that outlines the EVO features?

Textured Skin?
Upgraded Skeleton?
S-Level Make-Up?
Face/Head differences?

The biggest reason I bought one from Sate was that he said she was almost 10 pounds lighter that the previous 167 doll. Sadly she was still too heavy for me and is why I have her for sale on this site.

The big difference with the new EVO is that she is built in and no insert and looks more real. Also she has more details and more texture on her skin from what I can see.

Sounds very interesting, Lika.

Is the new EVO body available in 145cm, with normal breasts?
Is the body and the lpink skin compatible with 2015 heads?
As far as you know for sure my Miah ( Ying/Sakrua head ) has lpink skin colour. But I get the feeling the colour won't fit because of your mentioned textures, right?

Where did you hear that? The numbers on the website says both models are the same weight (29kg).

Sate on this site has a review on a new 167 Evo which I bought from him latter and he said it was about 10lbs lighter in the video than his previous DS 167 doll. She was still too heavy for and is why she's for sale right now.

I was just looking into this yesterday. The 145Evo is showing on Exdoll site.

So far only one head with S-class make-up. Using translator it appears you can use other heads, but there will be color mismatch. As far as I know the 145EVO has not be made available on any of the DS-resellers sites. Really interested to see where this is going. Don't when this will be brought to the larger market.

Some of the unadvertised differences:

A soft ass. Compared to the regular 167, it feels like there might even be an implant like the breasts.

The neck if a different shape. It is completely compatible with all of the older 167 heads, but fills the gap where the neck attaches better; stopping the head from turning unwantedly. The neck has also been upgraded internally, and she can lean her head to more angles (particularly forwards).

Re-sculpted hands with more detail on the knuckles and Blue veins added to the feet.

Enhanced shading on the body. The collar bones and shoulders/back have also been updated with a new sculpt.

Oh, and the skin colours are customised. The light pink isn't that noticeably different, but is a bit less pale than the original, and like I said has more shading on the contours.

I can only speak to the original though, not the 145 that I've seen around lately. I would imagine that most of the upgrades will carry over though.

Thanks a lot Smith!
I've expected the colour mismatch between the heads from 2015 and the new EVO body. It would be interesting how serious the mismatch is. On the exdoll images, the lpink colour doesn't look so different.
Slowly my Miah needs a new body, again with stiff joints and finger wires. ( To much modeling in front of the camera and photo shootings )

@Wilendorph

Thank you very much for your informations! :) I will write to John ( Does he and his email sales@dsdoll.com still exist ? ) and ask him for details about the 145 cm EVO body, including shipping costs to Germany.
