No matter how great your camera might be, it is how you apply your skills that makes the difference between an OK shot and a great shot. Here you can talk technical, talk creative, share your techniques, lighting, and digital editing. This is where we can all help each other to take better photos.
If you post a photo here and are looking for a critique, you should be prepared for honest criticism even if it hurts. It will only help to make us better photographers.
I did a little experiment this evening with a new app I got for my phone. It's called Paper Camera (http://www.jfdplabs.com/papercamera/). It applies different effect filters to pics at the time that you take them.
Megan and Cathy were lounging in bed nekkid, as they are wont to do... so I took a few pics. Behold my messy bedroom!
Original photo of the lovely Meg (she's the redhead, and Cathy is the blonde in the background), taken without any effects:
And here are my two favorites, out of the pics taken with effects:
Paper Camera, first thought on reading was 'what the ?????????' then on scrolling down saw the pics and to me it's a really impressive media. First thoughts were I'll have something like that and hang it on the wall in full view No visitor would be the wiser and the pics give a really subtle view as if by early impressionists. Nice one.

Toulouse-Lautrec, call your office.
So here’s what I’m thinking. I’ll be Charlie and you can all be my angels. Except you. You be Bosley.

I really like the paper camera filters. Thanks for sharing this with everyone on the Doll Forum. I will try to get this as an add-on filter for Photoshop Elements. I have had a quick look for it on the large list of filters available in the Photoshop Elements program, but cannot find it. I expect there are some similar filters that will produce a similar effect, but I would prefer to get an add-on if possible, as this would most likely save a lot of time to get the desired effect.
