Softness Shouldn't Be a Doubt of Our Silicone.

Post by ILDoll »

Hi all
Seems that few people concern the head.
Quite a few people come to me with a doubt about softness of silicone. For ours, you shouldn't worry about it.
I have considered for long that how to show the softness untill yesterday, I saw this on boss's desk. He told me that it is for testing materials. I thought why not showing you with this?
Here's the video.

This is a Shore durometer. Please turn to wiki for further info about it if interest.
I first tested my thigh and showed about 30 degrees likely because my muscle. :)
After this, I wondered if there still is a doubt. So I worked out another.

You may find that I showed the mold line for you because this is one of the easiest way the clarify the TPE and silicone.
In the second video you can see how it is felt by hand.
Please let me know if you want any other test about the softness.
By the way, 162 which in the first clip is so nice.

Kevin

Very cool, can't believe you have real artists and real engineers all in the company. I do remember the shore scale from college many years ago.

I think you are giving away way more uncut video and photo than anyone else. This is very helpful. all the PS photo everywhere else are very misleading.

Thank you very much for showing these videos!
Most manufacturers only show polished stuff, but have no interest in providing real data.
Is this a Shore A durometer?

It is totally on my purpose telling you that the mold line of silicone is cannot be removed. If you really mind it, sorry and just turn to TPE line. Anyone corrects me by photos of his own doll?

I have no idea about it as I am just bachelor degree of economics. I saw "Shore" in the translation of 邵氏硬度计. So I agree with you.
My style is showing the truth, which means make it immediately when you ask for some details. I made the videos and then uploaded them without any editing. I want you to realize my faith and sincerity in business.

I think bill Martin meant if the mold line would be trimmed better , not removed per say, I think he’s referring to a model in the second video who’s mold line was visibly not trimmed down.

This is a photo that kevin posted of a model in “before and after HR”, as you can see the mold line trim work is well done on this model, although a lil visible, one can see that the trim work is properly done, no mold line “jagged edges” in this one billmartin. :D
