My Valerie's broken leg repaired ( 4woods 'evolution')
My Valerie's broken leg repaired ( 4woods 'evolution')
It had appeared to be hanging a bit more then left leg on her chair, but when I felt around with my hand; I noticed it to be detached.(was hoping it was a loose bolt and needed to re-attach, but when I got the nerve to cut into her yesterday, I noticed it was boken below joint
I got brave and headed out to ACE Hardware and bought two part of JB Weld metal adhesive. ( remembered seeing a mechanic use it on an automotive engine)
I tightened bolt, placed her leg untop of my old briefcase (allowing her thigh weight to join with bottom leg portion), lifted leg to apply the magic stuff, let her sit overnight with a lamp and fan facing area w/ open wound (cut). Checked back at 4pm today and It hardened like a rock! , Proceded to close wound seeing that range of movemt and fusion was complete(loosened joint some). I attached pics for you 'Dollie Lover Bros/Sisters to see'.

She is in recovery still and curing. ( I did a good job!)

Thank You for your kind words & wishes
Valerie is fine & good as new
Showed 'Mom' the ending result and she asks; 'Wich leg did you repair?'
(This made me very content to hear)
If you get close, it can be seen, but not if unaware
Here's the end result pic:

"Very Grateful for pics and words shared in TDF & the ability to learn/ research 1st!"
The JB Weld idea just came to me ( did not learn here), but I am content to share. 'Pay it Forward'
You are right Mechwizard; It does indeed get easier and less painful each time needed.
( I need find out where and how to tighten her neck some next, but no rush )
TG Megami,
I could not of done it without her ( literaly)
'funny you mention'.......'Mom made a coment about keeping an eye on her somehow & not let her 'secretly' wonder around for a while.....'
Val ofcourse responded w/ a blank stare ( w/ a little smile attached )
No major special plans to 'celebrate' ( especialy in public ~darn~, LOL )
Powdering her up , brushing her hair, touching up any make up need, laying her in our bed to chill together, probably watching 'Cherry 2000' later ( or other ) & hold her in my LOving arms all night long.
