Hello everyone.

My silicone doll has got this bad smell in the vaginal area and was wondering if there is a safe way to remove it.

Now i know what people will say. You should of cleaned her properly after use. And i do. She has a insert vag and after use i soaked it in warm soapy water
then wipe it with a wet wipe to sanitizes. And have not had a problem with this routine till the last routine. 2 days later had a little finger play
and noticed the smell.

The only difference in the routine is that i had new wet wipes (i think it was a bad mix) but who know. i have soaked the insert in water and shampoo as someone suggested
and most of the smell is gone but can still pick up the smell in side the vagina. I have a new insert on order but want to get rid of the smell before i insert it back in.

Don't own a doll, am about to get one. But I do own high quality silicone dongs. Put them in the ass on a bad day and you'll get the smell. Only way is to scrub with soap, and burning hot water like crazy, then drench it in alcohol.

Guaranteed it was the wetwipes. Had a pack of wipes rot on me once. Switch brand.

Hope it helps. Good luck!

Wouldn't recommend either of those things, you need to wash it off but never use alcohol on silicone and hot water is good but it is not recommended to use boiling water on a doll's skin in general. Imo you should try some of the techniques to clean kitchen silicone appliances like baking soda, chlorine bleach and hydrogen peroxide, just use them at low concentrations as these chemicals can take the colors away (and really small concentrations are enough for sanitizing, less than even 0.5%). DO NOT MIX these chemicals as they can create poisonous fumes.

Baking soda in particular is used to remove foul odors and is the safest of those chemicals so i'd start with that one.

These 2 comments are ridiculous. Just rinse her again and make sure to dry her out properly, gor example with an aquarium pump. You can use alcohol on silicon. Theres no reason to use.peroxide unless you have mold.

Using very low concentrations, <0.5%, of bleaching liquids is sound advise for doll orifices and the use of baking soda is perfect for odor removal where food storage is concerned :)

In particular it's rubbing alcohol/isopropyl alcohol that you shouldn't use with silicone but i'm giving advice trying to be on the safe side, in general silicone has a high resistance to chemicals but it's never a bad thing to know as knowing is half the battle.

Insert has to be completely dry before putting it back in. If its wet the smell will give off a moldy stench. The vagina hole itself may need to be cleaned out if you haven't washed it upon arrival.

Soap and water, rinse ,then inject her with hydrogen peroxide and plug with a tampon . A butt plug also works.24 hrs later drain ,rinse and dry thoroughly.
She's now clean and sterile.
