Been reading through the blog, very informative indeed, thanks.

My TPE doll is due to be delivered soon, and the clothing staining issue does worry me. Looks like I'm going to have to wash all the clothes I get for the doll until they stop leaking colour. And then hope that they don't leak anymore when on the doll.

Yeah, wash them a couple of times. You can also ask the vendor you ordered your doll from, if he can give you a small TPE test piece along with your doll. You might have to pay a little extra, depending on which vendor it is. With that test piece, you can try out some clothes before you put them on your doll. You can see on my blog how to do the test. Apply pressure so that the test piece is pressed up against the clothes.

Best of luck with your new doll!

I've bought all the maintenance materials required, such as baby oil, hand soap, vaseline, etc... I don't have Nivea cream though, according to Indigo20's thread, the Nivea is supposed to be used on the stress areas like the elbows, knees, underarms and pubic area. Would vaseline be sufficient for these areas too?

I personally use vaseline on the high stress areas you mentioned. I haven't gotten Nivea cream into my skin care treatment routine yet, so I can't really say whether or not you need it. My dolls have survived without the Nivea cream so far at least. But Indigo20 knows more about this than I do, so if his advice is different from mine, you should probably listen to him when it comes to skin care. Most of my skin care information comes from him anyway. I just haven't used the Nivea cream, so therefore I don't include it in my own guide either. I don't like to give advice on things I haven't tried out for myself. :evidence:

Not sure if that really answered your question, but still.

Thanks for the advice.

When applying the Vaseline to the vagina, do you apply it to the insides of the vagina as well? My doll will have an insert.

Yeah, you can put some vaseline inside her vagina. Just put on a very thin layer. I can't really remember whether or not I usually put any inside of the vagina, but I always rub it in all around the vagina, at least.

in my opinion nivea has too many ingredients in it. baby oil has 2 and is just mineral oil with a perfume. vaseline is 100% petroleum jelly. a type of mineral oil that also has water resistant properties. while nivea creme has 23 ingredients most of which i cant pronounce.

I only use the pure stuff (white oil for machines for food purpose) in 5 liter cans for a year and its fine without any smell.

That's what I thought, and is why I'm kind of wary of using Nivea cream on the doll.

However, in Indigo20's thread, he seems to recommend Nivea for the knees, elbows, underarm, pubic area, etc.

I would've thought that Vaseline would do a good (if not better) job for those areas above? :?

baby oil is light penetration and quick to absorb in 30 mins to 2 hours
nivea is medium penetration and is around 2-5 hours to absorb
vaseline is deep penetration and can take 12 hours up to absorb

but..... tpe can be over saturated with mineral oil so more can be more harmful then less. we are talking about quite an overdose here. but i believe that nivea creme is recommended as a way of getting nivea oil deeper into the skin without over saturating the surface.

i do not doubt indigo at all. and am grateful for the work done to help us care for our tpe girls, but i still wont use nivea due to the sheer number of ingredients.

this is purely my opinion based of nothing but my beliefs and understanding. i may very well be wrong and come to regret it but only time will tell

this is definitely something all new owners should see. the worst case scenario is not the end of the world. and with the amount of big breasted dolls at the moment that is a question that gets asked a lot

New post: How to store your big boob sex dolls + link to new video
Advice on how to store your sex dolls with abnormally large boobs. How to avoid getting a tear in between them. It's very simple. You just position them right in bed. Check it out if you're interested.

New video: YL150 sex doll on her back - Boob play
Warning, this link leads to a porn site. I made a video of Booberella lying on her back, showing how her boobs behave when you play with them (with your hands only). Also includes the sound they make when you slap them around.

New photo: Just for the sake of it, I took a picture of her, which I added to the Photos section. I add photos there once in a while, without announcing it. So if you're interested, you can keep an eye on it. I really liked the way she looked when she was sitting on the side of my bed yesterday, so I had to take a picture of her. I brushed her wig in a way I have never done before, sort of a comb over... and yeah, in my opinion it looks better on dolls than on bald guys. 8)
